We drove down from Marshall, MI, to help celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of my little sister and her husband in Mount Vernon, IN, and decided to stay at LaQuinta in Evansville. We had a most enjoyable weekend.
Was there for 2 nights. My wife, my son, and I went to visit and tour the University of Evansville. The LaQuinta is located conveniently net to I-69 and Hwy 66. Easy drive to the airport, university, or downtown. The hotel is very close to numerous restaurants.Delicious complimentary breakfast and very friendly staff. The only complaint I had was there was no business center, but a new one is under works.
Overall is very good. Great location and services. Will come back again.
this was a very nice motel. the room was good size and everything was neat and clean. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. They had a nice breakfast each day and the staff was very nice and friendly. We would stay there again.
most comfortable bed. Sheets so soft and great pillows. towels dingy which was a turn off. but the next day towels were white. there was no shower cap. The lotion was great. the small soap was not replaced on the second day. shower was great with good pressure and hot water was consistent. we were there to visit family and to go to church
Slightly difficult to find, but great location near lots of restaurants. Great, friendly staff
Chose the hotel because it was close to the hospital. Room was clean and quiet. Great choice for the price.
Was a very nice and clean place to stay. Very convenient to restaurants. Very pleasant stay.
Great! The beds are very comfortable and so on and so forth.
Housekeeping didn't clean up our room the first day, and when we mentioned this to the front desk we were told that housekeeping leaves around 1 PM. This was not mentioned when we checked in. Other than that the stay was good and breakfast each morning was good. Price was reasonable and hotel quality matched the price.
Hotel room had wallpaper falling off, carpet was in need of replacement, furniture had busted sides, fridge was not cold and had dents in it. The door also had a gap where light came through from the hallway. Noise traveled into the room from even the front lobby. Also when going to make coffee in the room I discovered a moldy previously used (who knows when) coffee filter. Breakfast was just so-so. Oranges looked a little old, as did the Danish. There also was no milk for the cereal.
The room was very nice. We were able to check in early, which is always nice. The breakfast was carbs, small sausage links and coffee. The location was convenient for the east side of Evansville and there is an abundance of shopping/eating close.
Nice hotel, very clean. Short 10 minute drive to the Ford Center.
My wife and I stayed at this hotel as we were passing through town and were surprised with how nice the room was despite it being only $85. There is no other hotel where you will find this quality of room and service for this kind of money and I will definitely be staying here in the future.
Room was clean comfortable - nothing great...but I would stay again...
A nice facility at a good location, adjacent to a number of restaurants. A good value.
I have stayed at 5 star to unrate hotels, and rate this a 9 on the pleasure meter. I will stay here on my next trip.
Great experience for my wife,my son and myself, before we went to zoo on monday....will definitely stay again
My wife and I spent several days in Indiana doing research. Our last stop was a very small town in southwestern Ind. with very limited hotels (i.e. 2!). So we searched here, selected this property and were not disappointed. Great staff, hot breakfast typical of a 3 star level. The room was more than adequate for an overnight stay.
We found this hotel to be very clean in a good location near eating establishments. It seems to be a newer hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel in every way.
