Super 8 Crescent City

refrigerator was very noisy . had to unplug it so when it came on it would not wake me up. could not plug in the refrigerator and microwave at the same time because of outlet configuration. microwave was only clock in room so it was a good thing I had the refrigerator unplugged so I could tell what time it was.

Staff was very friendly. Limited breakfast but they still have waffles!!!

Where do we begin...the electronic card readers don't work on the doors. We had to move three times before they found a room the card reader worked. Once in our room the heat didn't work. We waited for over an hour for a space heater (not to mention we had to call and remind them to bring one). The security lock was nonexistent, obviously someone broke it and the hotel never bothered to fix it, just like a lot of other things there that seem to be broken and not repaired. Don't waist your time or even spend your money at this place until they bring it up to code and make some necessary repairs. There are other places to stay in town. We suggest looking at those options.

dirty pillows, dirty sheets, non working lamps and sockets, only cover sheet new which gives the room in the pictures a much nicer look, loud due to street and thin walls

Clean and things looked fairly new. Very nice shower and fridge in room. Unfortunately, beds were kind of hard, and pillows tiny. There is also a $15 fee for pets which is not mentioned in the listing.

Easy to get to. Room was kind of stuffy. We opened the window and heard noises around midnight. We woke to find a tent and a shopping cart right outside our window. It was fine for an older inexpensive short stopover.

Outdated. Our glass shower door fell off while my daughter was getting out of the shower.

Room was old, but clean. Just needed a place to sleep while on a road trip and it served our purpose.

The Super 8 was conveniently located. When we tried to check in a little early, the woman at the desk was very rude. i was put off immediately. the rooms were outdated but clean. the coffee pot didn't have the correct pot and didn't work properly. the microwave and mini fridge were soooooooo old! they did work though. we had 2 rooms and the party in the other room did not want service for the entire stay. the staff took that as we didn't want service either. we corrected that but NEVER got any service. when we asked for extra towels, the staff acted like we were taking the towels from their own bathroom and we got the third degree of questions. again, they were very rude about it. i would rather pay more money to stay at a hotel with good service than stay there again. let me be clear, I WILL NEVER STAY AT THE SUPER 8 IN CRESCENT CITY CA AGAIN. the staff was that rude.

The hotel was great value for money and the staff were friendly, it was clean and tidy but the room was hot and we couldn't figure out how to turn off the heating, I'm sure if we asked they would have sorted it out. There is an onsite washer and dryer for guests, unfortunately after I did a wash the dryer didn't work, however hanging them up in the room they dried pretty well overnight. I would stay there again.

The hotel is quite old but in good location. If in good day you will perhaps see the sunrise and sunset at the bay from this hotel. The desk people are very professional and sure your smooth check in is a consolation from a long, tiring trip. Just okay hotel to stop over for a night or two.

For the price this is an ok nigh stay. The bed is bouncy and the pillows are not the cleanest. Located just south of town, I guess the location is fine considering crescent city is notice of a destination itself anyways. Friendly staff and nice tv.

This hotel was close to the north Entrance to the Redwoods Highway and near some of the area restaurants. it's just off the highway, by the coast and we tried to go out to see the stars our second night but it was too cloudy. the free wifi didn't really work, but otherwise this was a good stay!

We stayed at Super 8 two nights over spring break, room and toilet were clean, receptionists always easy to talk to. The free wifi wouldn't work when there were too many people on it, but it's better than nothing.

We were in town for a basketball tournament and did not want to pay a lot. It was clean, fairly comfortable, and provided breakfast. Our needs were met and it is a good, convenient location across from the wharf. We were able to take a nice walk along the docks and enjoy the sights. The manager went out of his way to accommodate my special needs for a later check-out time. Overall, I was happy.

Clean and adequate, just as expected. Breakfast was OK but not special; coffee mediocre. Convenient location and friendly staff. Facilities slightly worn, but OK>

No problems at all. Quiet, great location, reasonable price. Great home base for exploring the parks to the south of Crescent City. Staff very helpful in printing boarding passes, etc.

I ask for and received a quiet room in the back. I was there for 2 nights and slept well.

They don't allow you to take ice cubes from dispenser except for room use only. $100 for a double room per night is too expensive! Breakfast is taken in front of the manager, so be prepared to wear a mask, if you don't feel like being watched.

You are not allowed to use ice from the dispenser for other purpose than room need, not for keeping your drink cold while driving. Nearly $100 a king bedroom is too expensive. Good job if you can book for cheaper, we would recommend it.
