Bathroom was so small and the water was not draining in bathtub.

The road traffic was noisy but the room was very adequate.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is convenient. There is a grocery outlet right across the street. Redwood national park headquarter and beach are also within 5 minutes’ walk. We really enjoyed the stay there.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming, excellent location, walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores, walking distance to the light house, saw a sea lion from the pier

Inexpensive hotel right on the Hwy in town. Big room but kind of outdated. Great Redwoods just outside of town. Under 10 miles on gravel roads, but huge trees. The front desk guy said they filmed Star Wars there. Not bad for the money.

I loved the hotel and its convenience was wonderful. The locations for eating were right there so there was no need to drive. I also found that the hotel was one that was quiet, and offered rooms that were clean and well stocked.

There was stale coffee in the lobby, the room was not smelling too good, and overall it was just very shoddy. I was very disappointed with the overall hotel although there was a movie theater and couple of places to eat nearby. For the money, it was not good at all.. NOT a good value at all.

Firstly to explain the title. It is in the middle of the one way system in crescent city, so it is convenient from both directions:) however it almost shares a parking lot with the Taco Bell next door. So don't expect any views. However .... If you are looking for a place to rest your weary head mid-road trip (or whatever), and aren't looking for luxury accommodation, then this will work for you and it at the cheaper end of the motels around. (I stayed at another economy hotel the night before, and this was better and cheaper). If the hotel was a person, I'd say that they were honest and hard working. The place was not a great looker, but the room was clean, totally adequate, comfortable mattress and pillows, good shower etc, and the staff member that I met at reception was very charming and helpful. Back to the location, it was walking distance to McD's, Taco Bell and Safeway (with Starbucks). There may well be plenty of others in the locale as well, I just didn't see them. Breakfast is fresh fruit, good donuts and different cakes (as well as the expected coffee/tea)which may work for you - or not. It was nice, just not my thing.... Overall, in the price bracket I would recommend this hotel over some of the others. FYI - that quiet but constant beeping you hear overnight every 7 seconds or so, is not the next door residents cell phone - it's the crescent city foghorn and you hear it everywhere. Take earplugs and you'll be fine :)

Easy location on Hwy 101. Short drive to one of the best places to see giant redwoods. Staff was very nice and large rooms.

Convenient to the freeway. Price was affordable since it was just a place to sleep for the night.

This is certainly not a place I would want to stay for more than one night. But it served a purpose. If you just want a place to sleep on your way down the coast, this hotel was satisfactory. It was just my wife and I on this trip. I would be a little hesitant to take my children to stay there.

That is all you will hear if you get the room that is on the taco bell side. All night long you hear people placing their orders in the drive thru line. Not good!

Room was a little dated and small but served as a place to lay our heads at night. The owner was very courteous and helpful. Nearby attractions like the lighthouse.

Comfy bed... The area seemed safe too. Not too much to do in this town but we are at Northwoods. It was good!

The staff were extremely friendly. The room was good for a night stay on the road. It did have a refrigerator, microwave, safe, and coffee maker. Plenty of Fast food around and markets with Deli's. We would stay there again when traveling through Crescent City.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Housekeeping was there everyday to check if anything was needed. The wifi worked pretty well. I was there for 10 nights, and being close to the center of town I was afraid it would be noisy, but it was rather peaceful every night. Will be staying here next time I go to Crescent City.

We stayed two nights to experience the Redwoods - we booked for 4 adults for 2 queen beds; somehow the hotel only registered 2 adults in 2 queen beds. As a result, we ended up paying $28 additional charge. Room was too small with 2 queen beds jammed in it. An "OK" stay.

We were traveling with the intention of hiking in the redwoods and Crescent City looked like a great out of the way spot to do it. But all the hotel reviews for the town were horrible so I was really worried. I was relieved to find the Travelodge in a convenient location, clean, pleasant staff and even a microwave and fridge. There is national park information nearby, a discount grocery across the street, plenty of fast food or sit down places to eat and a Walgreen's for refilling my prescription. The town was very quiet overall - I guess they do not get a lot of tourists until further in the summer, but that was fine by me. I would stay there again.

Room was clean but next to a take out place so continuous line of cars - but no real noise. Good overnight place - decent wireless connectivity. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

we have been there on the 4th of July weekend it was way too pricey for what we got
