This hotel is currently undergoing a remodel. We were able to stay in a new room and the room is beautiful. The staff was all very friendly and accommodated our early arrival and last minute reservation. Breakfast was really good too.

In the middle of renovating their floors. We got a new room. Very nice. Clean. Shower was great, wider than most hotel showers. Helpful front desk staff and very close to U of O !

Love the location...across the street from University of Oregon.

My daughter and I attended an event at the Matthew Knight Arena and this hotel is a 1.5-2 block walk to the arena. PROs: Our room was comfortable and clean. The entire staff was very helpful and courteous. The breakfast was about average, but I was delighted to find they offered some gluten-free blueberry muffins! Dutch Brothers coffee next to premises. We enjoyed our quick one-night stay. CONs: There was a lot of construction adjacent to the hotel going on so (Oct. 2015), no sleeping in for us.

This location was perfect for our visit to U of O. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Made for a restful place to come back to.

We needed a place to stay overnight on our family road trip. The suite was clean and comfortable, and the hotel was located close to restaurants and the freeway. The staff was very friendly.

Hotel was close to the highway, clean and very comfortable soft beds. Breakfast was a bit better quality then most and even had soy milk cartons for vegans. Noise stay!

Spacious room, had in room safe and coffee maker and a microwave. Walking distance to several restaurants and to the U of O.

There's construction next door but we were lucky that they didn't work. Good value, near university of Oregon, friendly staff.

Overall, the hotel was good. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice and helpful. We had noisy neighbors and they immediately took care of it. The only challenge we had with this hotel was the dining area for breakfast is really small and they never had enough seating for a really full hotel.

This is the second year we have gone to Eugene, but the first at a Holiday Inn Express. The location was perfect. Close enough to everything we wanted, but without the noise. Plan on returning next year for a longer stay. Staff was awesome. Thanks for a wonderful vacation. Kids loved the pool.

The hotel is clean and the staff is amazing! I booked my trip through a travel website and needed to change dates. They were very helpful! Breakfast was warm and descent. My only complaint would be the pool is so over chlorinated that u may break into a rash. As far as the rooms beautiful! However the beds and pillows are the most uncomfortable thing. The customer service made this a 4 star!

My stay was fine - nothing extraordinarily good or bad. The decor is current and the room was clean. Large bathroom, very friendly and attentive staff. Just a little bit far from some of the south edge of the U of O campus if you are walking. The plumbing from other rooms seemed very loud. I am guessing the discharge line ran directly behind my room so may not be for all rooms. No fault of the hotel however I was there when the Model UN competition was in town and the breakfast was overrun with sleepy HS students who had no concern for being in the way of other guests.

The hotel is actually pretty decent quality for the budget traveled....not too bad. Good location near Matthew Knight Arena. I like the pancake machine. Our room looked a little European in size, but the beds were good, AC was strong and the bathroom was clean.

We stayed in this hotel last April and chose a room that was too close to the pool (chlorine smell) and noisy (faced the rest./club). This time we stayed in the same type of room only on the 4th floor facing the front. The previous issues were resolved. Fortunately the air conditioner worked as the temp. in Eugene reached 100 degrees every day.

The hotel was in a wonderful location for a visit to the University; it was also convenient to the interstate. We reserved a room with 2 queens and a couch and had the choice of ground floor or upper floors. Unfortunately we chose the ground floor as it was a bit noisy with the nightclub across the parking lot facing our window and people checking out early in the AM.Also the hotel's washers/driers were next door.I would strongly recommend an upper floor Very helpful/friendly staff. Chlorine smell in the hallway outside the room. I would definitely stay there again and choose room wisely.

The room was well decorated and comfortable, although our room was small (all rooms varied in size). The bathroom was especially well appointed and well lighted. The hotel was convenient to OSU and the free breakfast was one of the best.

Excellant location with easy access to all things Eugene: U of O, downtown, Valley River Center. This was our second stay and, again, we were happy with our experience. We had a king "suite" which gave us a little extra room. The beds are comfortable and everyone is friendly and helpful. Our only complaint were the thin walls as we could here our neighbors conversation but it was quiet enough at night for us to get a good sleep.

The Holiday Inn Express is arguably the nicest hotel in Eugene. It's also in close proximity to the university. Our room was spacious, comfortable and immaculate, however, the torrent of water flowing through pipes in the wall woke us up several times during the night. The very polite desk clerk explained the pipes needed repairs, which management is in the process of dealing with. We didn't take advantage of the inviting breakfast room, but did smell bacony goodness as we checked out. There's a decent drive-thru coffee kiosk in the parking lot, and also a restaurant next door which unfortunately serves beyond terrible food, so beware.

This Holiday Inn Express was VERY nice. It was just recently built when we stayed there, and we were very impressed for a Holiday Inn. The best part were the beds, they were more comfortable than some five star resorts that we have stayed at. I would highly recommend this hotel. I think the only complaint we had was the slow elevators!!
