Best Western Greentree Inn

Recent guest reviews

Stayed one night. No elevators. Hard carrying bags upstairs especially if you have physical limitations.

Exterior is very drab and disappointing. Bathroom smelled strongly of urine. Otherwise, it was a very good value.

I would like to point out there was a review posted for this hotel on April 11 which is false and incorrect. I did have a laptop stolen, but it was not the hotels fault in the least bit. I was followed back to my hotel room. The hotel and management did everything they could to try and recover my computer and were very accommodating. I have contacted Orbitz staff several times to have the review removed, as I wrote it when I was quite upset. They are refusing to remove that review, which I truly do not understand. No one from the hotel staff entered my room and committed that crime. I am wondering why Orbitz does not have the authority to take down reviews which are incorrect. Please disregard the completely misinformed review posted on April 11, 2017 with do not stay here in the title.

WARNING !!! DO NOT STAY HERE OR YOU MAY BE ROBBED!! I HAD A $1200 MAC BOOK AIR STOLEN RIGHT OUT OF MY ROOM. I left the room between the hours of 11:00 pm and 2:30 am. Somewhere during that point in time someone entered my room and stole my precious Mac Book right off the desk. Luckily nothing else was stolen, which I find strange as I was traveling with multiple other expensive items. I believe it may have been the front desk staff. There were no other identified key cards which entered my room, however there are doors between other rooms and staff could have entered through an adjacent room and come through the wall door. I believe the night shift staffing the desk may have watched as I entered and exited the building. Additionally there are supposedly no cameras around which can identify thieves. This place is so unsafe!!! Anyways, I would be extra super careful if you choose to stay here as you might be next!!!!!. Take necessary precautions. Also, although management was quick to come to the scene, I did not find him to be super helpful. And the front desk staff, Jennifer, was also extremely rude on the hotel phone. Overall I immensely regret my stay here as it turned out quite traumatic with the theft and staff. Hopefully you choose someplace safer!

Clean and close to the University. Further from town center.

Excellent staff Very accommodating at 3 am very hospitable

Really nice room and hotel for the price point. Breakfast and coffee is great in the morning.

nice staff and quick check in with confirm # available

The location of this hotel is great for visiting campus. We had two beds, one was in great shape, the other was quite worn with a hold in the middle. The hotel is old, but in adequate shape that it felt comfortable.

Great location across the street to Haywood Field and a short walk to the prefontaine running path and park.

Stayed here last minute. Room was nice and big (we put a roll away in there and still had plenty of room). Only thing that sucked was that they only had smoking rooms available and it was a very strong odor. Don't know why hotels don't go all non-smoking.

I enjoyed my stay there. I was visiting my family and didn't want to stay with them because I had my cat. I didn't spend that much time there, but the bed was comfortable (brought my own bedding, which I do when I take trips in my car), lots of TV channels so that was nice. THe only amenities I missed were bath stuff. No lotion or hair conditioner. The room was a very nice size, 2 love chairs, desk, table, large bed, large entertainment center with coffee stuff. Mini fridge inside entertainment center. I especially liked the balcony since I smoke occasionally.

Great location near the campus and start of the Eugene Marathon, which I was running. Because the marathon was Sunday morning, I requested a late check out time -- noon versus 11am. I was denied and told to go to a sister motel where they had a shower facility in their pool room. One shower for dozens of guests. Very uncool. To top it off, the clerk told me i may be able to come back after the race and if they hadn't cleaned a room yet, I may be able to use it to shower. Not my own room. Someone elses. That's gross. Also, the breakfast was poor even for a continental at a Best Western. If location is all you care about, then fine. They did give me another $10 off per night for being a Costco member. Would have liked late check out though.

Great price, but along with that price came a rock hard bed and pillows that were horrible. We ended up taking pillows from our daughter's dorm room just so that we could sleep. The room was very noisy. The train passing by woke us up both nights. Not worth the price.

We went to a football game at Autzen Stadium. Stadium is a nice 15 minute walk across the river and through the woods. The hotel was average, nothing special. Some of the halls were dirty but the room was large and clean. Continental breakfast was adequate. We would stay here again largely because of the location and affordable pricing.

This is a nice hotel in an excellent location if you need to be close to the University of Oregon. Since I came all the way from Maryland to get my son settled at college, it was great to be close. Wonderful Thai Restaurant in the parking lot! The only negative - the key cards to get into the rooms demagnetized very easily. Mine had to be re-keyed every day, which was a minor hassle.

We went to Eugene for a Cheerleading competition for grandchild. Have had better previous commendations. The hotel was in a great location to get to where the competition was being held The desk staff gave a hint on how to get to street easier without having to go a mile out of the way.

The green tree is nice but there are a few stairs if you are on the second floor and my husband has knee problems so it was not pleasant and the parking is limited and ackward. There are not enough spaces for the rooms and it is crowded. The rooms are great and the balconies are fun and the scenery off the balconey is very relaxing..so it is a trade off ..the clerk was a little agressive and having a bad night but we all do at times. there are quite a few restaurants close ..but not too many kid friendly as far as the menu goes but if its adults it works. The room was nice and clean and comfortable. Any place I stay that has a refrigerator and microwave will draw me back, just makes a big difference. Our room had a refrigerator but no microwave.
