My goal was budget hotel in town with several budget choices. Would look to try another next time Small room with no amenities but classic motel syltykenroom - it was safe and ok but had to have front desk send someone to snake sink and shower - yuk Free breakfast unusable unless you want a waffle or bagel - no oatmea, no fruit and a general tiny old room behind a curtain - kind of creepy Pool - not that I planned to use it but clearly not the place for clean and well maintained so would not let kids use it Front desk, presumably an owner was very nice

Room was supposed to be nonsmoking but reekedof cigarette smoke. Bed was old and the manager was rude.

This is a terrible place. It appears that road side low class motel was converted to Days Inn Hotel. Very congested, Dirty, shabby rooms. Old fashioned bath. When I checked in it was bit cold too at Emporia. Heater was not effective. My family with two kid had to suffer all night. When asked for possibility of room change hotel receptionist presumably owner rudely rejected any possibility of that which he could have rejected in better way. However, next day during break fast he was showing some personal attention. Day Inn should not franchise this kind of places. This is impact image of Days Inn hotel chain. As a customer, hence force I will not stay in any Days Inn across the US for rest of my life. That's what the terrible experience I had in this hotel. This hotel does not deserve even 1 rating. But we do not have any option to provide lesser rating.

Lumpy and soft mattress, tiny room, noisy air conditioner, bathtub drain that was clogged, toilet that did not flush, sub-par breakfast. About as 1 star as you can get. Two good things were that the staff was nice, and it was close to the freeway. Would I return? Probably not.

The staff members were fantastic. Very accommodating, friendly, and helpful. They didn't act as if they were doing you a favor by getting an extra towel. In fact they went the extra mile and brought me two extra towels. The stool stopped working and I reported it to the desk clerk and by the time we returned to the hotel later that evening it had been fixed. Although all of the rooms are supposed to be non-smoking the room smelled as if an underlying lingering odor of old smoke still permeated the room. The room was clean but just had that lingering odor. The room was extremely small and I felt a little let down since I was anticipating a more spacious room like I saw in the online tour photos. The bed was extremely too soft. My wife and I felt that we needed to both get in the bed simultaneously in order to keep from falling out of the bed. It was so soft that you felt as if you would roll out if you were the only one in the bed. The location was great being right off the interstate.

Needed a place to rest for the night after a long day's drive. This place couldn't have been better. Great location (right off the interstate) and had a small fridge and microwave in the room. The breakfast was below par in the morning, but came in handy. Overall great value for money and I would definitely stay here again if I had a choice.

We stayed at Emporia for my sons last track meet and to bring him home for the summer. Great pool and hot tub

Wonderfully soft beds.

We attended an ESU event. The room was adequate. The people were very friendly and helpful. The bed was very soft and comfortable. The room was a non-smoking room but had a lasting aroma of smoke. The breakfast wasn't anything special. There wasn't any decaf coffee for those of us who need decaf. We will stay there again.

The night clerk was not very nice, the rooms were dirty, the web site said bus or truck parking and there was no room for a pick-up and trailor.

Dear Guest, On behalf of our entire staff, please accept my deepest apologies for the problems during your stay with us. I am sorry about the clogged sink and shower drain. Our maintenance staff is inspecting all our guest bathrooms to ensure that we don't have this problem anywhere else on our property. In addition, we have ramped up our preventive maintenance program to ensure that we catch and address these issues proactively before our guests are inconvenienced. I would like to apologize that we didn't live up to our standards in providing you the best dining experience. We also are reviewing our breakfast options to ensure that we have ample variety to cater to all our guests needs. Once again, I am very sorry for your inconvenience and I personally assure you of a much better stay experience during your future stay with us, given another chance. Sincerely, NEETI G. Dear Guest, Please accept my deepest apologies for not living up to our standards in providing you the best stay experience. We are a non-smoking hotel and we strive to make sure that this is strictly enforced. Based on your feedback, I have followed with our housekeeping staff to avoid this situation in the future. We have put in a process so that I'm immediately notified in case our staff discovers any violation of our non-smoking policy so that we can take extra care to clean our guest rooms to avoid any inconvenience for our guests. I am really sorry that we didn't provide you the best hospitality and service. That's completely unacceptable and I have addressed this with our entire staff. I personally assure you of a much better experience during your future stay with us, given another chance. I hope that you will consider staying with us again so that we can have another chance to provide you with a superior experience. Sincerely, NEETI G. General Manager Days Inn Emporia

Dear Narayan, On behalf of our entire staff, please accept my deepest apologies for all your hassles and your poor stay experience at our property. I am really sorry that our room heater wasn't effective. Based on your feedback, we have replaced the heating/cooling unit with a brand new one that we had in stock and this problem has been addressed. Also, I would like to apologize for our poor service and hospitality. That goes completely against our values and I have addressed this with our entire staff. Once again, I am very sorry for all your inconvenience. Sincerely, NEETI G. General Manager Days Inn Emporia
