This unique place has a style all its own. With ground floor accommodation and basement bedrooms, this is the place to stay like no other. In the Heart of beautiful Ely with great local shopping and stunning scenery, it's a perfect place to stay and relax. We have plenty of space as well as a private courtyard garden too. We can't wait to host you here at "The Undercroft"

We are pleased to let you know that this property is pet-friendly. If you would like to bring your pet along, please let us know at the time of booking or at least a day before your arrival. We ask for this notice so that we can prepare the property for your pet's arrival. Please note that a security deposit of £100.00 will be required to cover any potential damages caused by your pet during your stay, or if enhanced cleaning is required after your pet's departure. This deposit will be fully refundable after your stay, provided that no damage or additional cleaning is necessary after our team inspected the property.

Good location, misleading facilities

Convenient to downtown but there were no laundry facilities on site as listed by the website. Instead you have to go across the street to a dry cleaners and pay 22 pounds for clothes laundry.

Great suprise

Lovely property, everything that we needed. The house is huge, facilities great...I would definitely stay again. I would like to point out, bedroom two is separated from the room by a curtain, it wasn't a problem. I love the garden made me feel home from home, it a place to relax. Communication was excellent.

Needs a lot of improvement

PROS: Low cost & a central location in Ely CONS: The two smaller "bedrooms" are legally not actually bedrooms because they don't have windows. As such, because they are in the basement, there is no light or ventilation. One of the reasons half of my family left the property early & went to a hotel was for the lack of windows/ventilation which made breathing at night hard. The bathroom located by the two smaller "bedrooms" (full bed behind a curtain under the stairs) had no fan or ventilation so it smelled & had paint peeling & mold in the shower. That shower also did not drain properly & would get filled up at the bottom. The toilet was hit or miss on flushing properly. The family members who stayed in the bedroom with windows were mostly okay because of the windows/ventilation as well as the more modern bathroom attached to it. We all used that shower because it was cleaner & more modern. The house overall, especially downstairs, was musty and dusty. Upstairs appears better, but there were two leaks in the kitchen: one by the sink & one by the espresso machine. We could not work the stovetop & no directions were provided until we asked. Communication with the property management team was not great. Almost 2 weeks before my stay I asked to modify the dates on my booking. They never responded. I periodically messaged them about the dates, early check in, extra towels, bedding, & trashbags. When I called I finally got hold of someone, they claimed they'd never gotten my msgs

Family in town for Wedding

Such a perfect place to see Ely. Could not be more convenient if you want to be in the heart of things. We have a son that lives in Ely with a new grandbaby we were there with other family and this flat worked perfect. We were able to be close and see our grandbaby (great grandbaby as my mother came as well) with out crowding them. We will be back for sure.
