This is a small hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable. The price was less than competitive hotels of similar quality in the area. There was a good breakfast. Easy access to the freeway as well as the town of Ellensburg.
Everything about this hotel surpassed expectations. Nice, updated room. Very clean. Dog friendly. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Convenient to both the town and the freeway. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend. Would stay here again in a hearbeat!
We were told the room price was justified, as the hotel had been renovated. First, the good: New comfortable bedding and lamps with electrical outlets, fresh paint on some walls. Less than good: Low flow shower head was plugged up, which was probably good, because the tub drain was very slow, so you were showering in water up to your ankles. Toilet was very old, and slow to flush. If I had little kids I would worry about them sticking their fingers through the broken electrical outlet cover in our room. Breakfast - We went down at 8:15 to find fresh waffles but no meat and just a few egg-like patties that must have been there for a while as they were quite dark colored and hard. Our room keys needed reprogramming twice, and had stopped working again when we checked out.We did sleep well even though it's relatively close to the highway, and this is a real review from a real person. No elevator, so be prepared.
I was on my way to Bremerton, WA and stayed at this property. It is right off I 90 near I 82. The hotel staff were friendly and the room was clean and roomy. I would recommend eating at the restaurant next door, I have eaten breakfast and dinner, and both were good.
Nice hotel although a bit on the pricier side for a Choice Hotel property, probably due to the location. We had one problem but the staff jumped on it and it was resolved by the time we returned from dinner. Could not ask for better service.
It's a wonderful hotel near the highway. it was easy to find. the staff were very nice. the indoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi was wonderful to have. the rooms are very clean the bed is comfortable. parking is very convenient. They allowed us to have our dog in our room for a $10 fee. the breakfast was wonderful. I was able to make an egg McMuffin with their eggs bacon sausage English muffin. they also have a mini waffle and full-size waffle maker. They have fresh fruit and cereal and other breakfast items.
This hotel was conveniently located right off the highway. Nothing spectacular, but compared to the rates of other hotels for the same weekend, it was more than adequate for our needs. The biscuits and gravy were very good and the room was clean and comfortable. Parking is a bit tight for full sized trucks.
Stayed for one night. The first room I was given had not been made up. They quickly gave me another room. This is your basic by-the-side-of-the-freeway motel. There was the ubiquitous mystery white stain on the dust ruffle around the bed. I just chanted a mantra "don't think about it. don't think about it. don't think about it. ". The wifi stopped working the next morning. Annoying. But I slept fine. The stay was adequate.
This place was not our favorite. We are on a 19 day family road trip and have stayed in many hotels now. This was by far the worst. The staff was very friendly, though. The hotel is old. Jets on the hot tub doesn't work. That's not a deal breaker as it was still warm and the kids liked the pool. I went to do laundry...so I went to the front desk to ask the girl on duty for coins. I asked how much each load was so I would know how many quarters to get...she said, "I don't know how much it costs. I've never done my laundry here." Sigh. So, I got lots of quarters just in case. (The laundry room is like 20 feet from desk...how can the person in charge not know this?). I put my laundry in the washer. It didn't start. The girl at the desk didn't know how to get it to start either. She called the maintenance man (she was helpful), and he told us to push and hold the right side of the lid down. That did get it to work...probably needs a sign. The deal breaker came in when we didn't get a good night of sleep. Before we went to bed, our phone rang. Not a big deal. Nobody was there. Then we went to bed...and our phone kept ringing ever so often. At 1 am I unplugged it from the wall. Ridiculous. This morning when I got up, I plugged it in. It had already rang 3 different times during the hour we were loading the car. I told the front desk...the girl said sorry and it sounded like an alarm was set on the phone that housekeeping forgot to reset. Sorry really isn't enough. A tired travelled paying $150 + a night deserves sleep. The nice girl said she would tell the manager but nothing was done to show sorry. I heard her tell someone else the manager wasn't in...at 8 AM you would think someone in charge would be around. We were not pleased. I wouldn't stay here again and I am a very patient fairly easy to please person. If your night of sleep is messed up just expect a so sorry and a pat on the back as they send you out the door with a have a great day.
I have never stayed where the pet fee was only $10. But, I thought the room was over priced for the quality. We paid $143 for a king size bed. The room was a little worn but clean enough. There was a door to the room next door that let a lot of noise from them in. Besides hearing the people noise, they had a little yappy dog. It would bark and make our dog growl and bark back. We were woke up, several times. The staff was professional and friendly.
