This is our 3rd stay. While a good area to stop, the room and hotel are showing signs of wear. Time for an upgrade. Also, be careful with the shower if you’re in room 801. Test the shower water before getting in the shower. Water temperature changes without moving the handle while you shower! And the hot setting is very very hot. Could be very dangerous for an elderly person! The room also smelled like feet. I’ve never had this problem at this hotel. Again, time for a renovation. The sofa in the lobby is very worn as well. Too bad for what was a nice stop previously. The bar however is nice and the food good. No room service. Food service until 10pm.
I thought I was splurging because Marriott hotels are usually very nice but that was not the case. I will probably never stay at another Marriott hotel after this experience. The hotel overall was outdated and dirty. When we got to our room we checked for bed bugs which we have never felt the need to do before. The mattress itself was thin and uncomfortable. There weren’t any bugs but when we laid down on the bed it was covered with little hairs. They hotel staff switched us rooms but didn’t offer anything for the inconvenience. The hotel had a good rating and good reviews but I don’t see how. I felt like I was staying in a dirty motel rather than a Marriott hotel. I can’t believe Marriott would keep their name on that building.
This is a tired property in a tired town!
They only had the bar area open for food. Limited menu. The hotel was within walking distance of several downtown resturants.
Great place to stay for a concert
Convenient location. Easy check in. Clean and attractive
The hotel in general is run down. There are stains on the walls in the hallways and in our room, our room smelled bad, the wallpaper was peeling, and the windows were filthy. The front lobby had a smashed window that was boarded up with zip-ties!!
nothing
The staff Acted like they didn’t wanna help at all they sold out my room before I could check in the pool was filthy I would never stay at this hotel again
It was very clean and quiet
We really enjoyed our stay. Since we rented through Orbitz and not hotel we missed that there would be extra charges. Ex. Parking, wi-fi. But would not keep us from staying again.
