Big room. more than I needed. Stink of cigarette smoke hits you as soon as you enter the building and permeates throughput. Internet almost non-existent, not good for business environment. When I tried to see about improving internet I was told that with the casino and a sold out night this is what you get. Unacceptable! Then upgrade the bandwidth to serve the needs of the hotel operation and the guests. Front desk staff just gave me a "who cares " attitude. The furry faced guy who seemed to be the head idiot was really flip on this point. I said I wasn't happy, he basically said "oh well". Thought Ramada was better than this. Guess I am spoiled by the excellent service and capability of the Hilton properties, which I will not be leaving any time soon for the Ramada "experience.
The hotel is very clean and nice, the room was big and freshly updated. The breakfast was very good and the server was awesome!!! We definitely will stay there again!
An older hotel and combination Casino. It has been fixed up. good beds. good staff. center of town, the bathroom could use a vent fan. Choice of four breakfasts at their restaurant: much better than buffet style in serving trays as many restaurants are.
Needed a nights rest and a place to park with room for a trailer, the Ramada worked out well for both.
Very pleasant, efficient, and professional reception staff and a clean and welcoming reception area. I watched a representative deal with multiple, card carrying members of the impatient, coddled masses with patience and in good humor. The staff in the cafe, (restaurant), were excellent, very courteous and friendly, and were very conscientious about getting food to the table in a timely manner and making sure that there were no issues. It's not meant to be fine dining, but it was well prepared food, and a great value for the money. Finally, the suite was clean, relatively modern, and had most amenitiesthat I am used to. The "odd thing" came with the answer that they didn't have a laundry service. Not even that it could be arranged but that it was not on site, but that they as a hotel had made no effort to make any arrangements at all. No ability to do laundry. No ability to broker it with a local business. No laundry. Period! Perhaps this is a common thing in certain hotel chains, but it's new to me. Again though, other than that one thing, I loved my stay Elko.
Nothing too special about the hotel. Basic room, tv, shower. No place to sit other than the bed. Coffee shop is good. Casino does not have much in the way of table games. No craps table and blackjack table opens at 6PM.
We stopped here on our way home and it was affordable, remodeled and the staff were all very friendly from check-in to check out. The bed was comfy and the shower worked great. A free breakfast after checking out which we had a late check out was very good. Our server Thersa was the best!! She recommended a museum to us which we went to and loved it, the California trail museum just 6 miles west of Elko. Next time we pass through will we stay here again. Only thing we didn't like was the noise from floor above us. Next time we'll request a top floor.
The outside looks old, but the rooms are newly remodeled and NICE. Comfortable and quiet. Super friendly staff.
The room was spacious and very clean. The beds were clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was very good also the service was fast. They were having internet issues that was the only aspect of our trip that wasn't fun.
Pet friendly hotel fee is $25.00. Drove to the edge of town to walk the dog since there isn't a pet walking area nearby. Bed was comfortable, I was able to fully open the window and turn off the fan. Room was quiet all night due to good insulation. Arrived in time for the 2 for 1 priced happy hour and got a ticket to have my second cocktail during dinner which was after happy hour ended. In the morning got coffee from the bar...no charge. Thanks.
