I tried to stay at this property with a family of 5 as listed here in Orbitz but upon arrival at 11pm, they said their rooms did not accomodate 5. I spent a very uncomfortable night trying to fit 3 adults and a 14 and 15 year old in 2 queen beds. No rollaway and no other solutions were offered just that "yeah, we know that they say that on the web site but we don't have that" the carpet was filthy and worn and buckled. Couldn't wait to leave and the management would not refund the night that had been prepaid. What a joke! Will never stay at this chain again!
Staff was wonderful and we definitely felt safe. It’s an older hotel and needs upgrading. We needed a place to sleep that included free parking and breakfast so we got what we paid for. Breakfast was very basic.

When we stayed at this facility prior to Covid, we were so impressed with the hotel, amenities, breakfast, rooms, etc. I absolutely realize that Covid has been a horrible situation for the hospitality industry, this hotel has unfortunately deteriorated over the past 18 months. Upon entering the hotel room, we noticed the bathroom fan did not function and even though the room was set up for 4 people to stay, we only had 3 towels, washcloths, etc. Additionally, our kids were going to sleep on the sofa bed and there were no pillows or blankets anywhere in the room. While not difficult to walk down to the desk to retrieve them, it was frustrating after a long day of travel. Again, breakfast is challenging in times of Covid, I wish there were a few more options available. Hoping that things improve and the hotel bounces back!

Great location. Very reasonably priced through Orbitz!! Clean room. Nice staff. The pool and exercise room were closed due to COVID. It was disappointing that on Monday morning they did not have all of the breakfast choices because the shipment did not come in. They were out of milk, danish, nutrigrain bars and several other choices. I felt like they could have purchaseD them locally if they were out. The next morning they had all of the choices. Nice staff. Good play to stay.
Overall a great experience for my family and me! While our room was directly across from the breakfast room, we weren't disturbed at all by the noise and the convenience of it was excellent! Continental breakfast was great and somewhat unique (Nutella for topping waffles was a huge hit!) :) Location was convenient for what we were in town for!
Room was comfortable, but we can hear a group of kids running back and forth upstairs. They stopped by 9 pm. Our kids were curious about the noise, but they fell asleep fine.
Clean and quiet.I did not like the pillows, they were way too soft.
We were very happy with our stay here! The room was large and comfortable, staff was friendly (even the housekeeping lady said hello and wished us a safer trip as we left our room), breakfast looked good (I have a dairy allergy and couldn't eat, however, because there was no ingredient info available), and the pool was clean and not freezing cold. Overall we were very happy with our stay. We visit Chicago frequently, but this was our first time at this hotel. I expect we will stay here again.

Jennifer, We apologize for the issues you experienced. COVID-19 has impacted our property and many of the procedures/amenities we had become so used to. For guest safety, we no longer keep the additional blankets and pillows in the rooms, but are happy to bring them to our guests as needed. We will be undergoing a full hotel renovation in the coming months and do hope that you give us another chance and come to see it upon completion.
