We've stayed at this location a couple of times. The Executive Suite is a two room suite, with ample space and comfortable appointments. Free parking across the street and two e-vehicle charging stations on site. The pool is small, but adequate for exercise. The hotel staff go out of their way to resolve issues once they are brought to their attention: WiFi password changed daily, room key disabled daily, other guests walking into our suite twice (over booked).
Everyone was very friendly. We don’t speak French, but that didn’t matter. Took a bit long to check in (computer issues?). But other than that all was great. Had dinner at the hotel as well... food was very tasty and fresh. Would stay here again.
I was pleasantly surprised by this place, it was nicely renovated, comfortable clean rooms. Nice clean hot pool for the girls. The check in took 1 minute and the check out 30 seconds. I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re halfway between Montréal-Québec and Moncton, like us, it’s the perfect place.
Attached to a conference centre, this hotel offers very good accommodation, friendly service, an excellent restaurant, and access to shopping -- all under one roof. Parking was across the street, the only downside on a rainy day. The place looks like new with clean, comfortable rooms; pleasing decor; and quick elevators. Supposed to be the best in Edmundston, and it lives up to its fine reputation. This will certainly be my choice in future. Located in the downtown of a very pretty little city.
I stayed there early November for a conference and I have to say it was one of the most spacious and warm (inviting) rooms I have been in. The bed and bedding was very comfortable and the staff was very welcoming and efficient. I would definitely stay there again.
Just stayed here one night on a whim trip to New Brunswick. We were looking for a nice hotel with parking and a restaurant, and booked the Four Points based on those items. Check in was fast and friendly, ample parking across the street, and the restaurant was on site. After a long drive, we crashed on the comfy bed for about an hour, and then headed down to the restaurant for drinks and dinner. The restaurant was packed at 8 pm, so we chose to eat at the bar. Service was fast and friendly, generous pours of wine, and the food was really good. In the morning after a quiet nights rest, we tried out the fitness room, and had a pleasant workout before hitting the road again. Checked out with no problems, so overall a very pleasant experience, and we would stay here again!
Disclaimer- we did not stay at the hotel. I often see reviews complaining about poor service without staying at a hotel, so I wanted to provide an interaction that had the opposite outcome. We had booked to stay 1 night at the four points on our way from Quebec to Moncton, however the next day our 9 month old son got sick and we had to turn around and head home to Hamilton. Although we booked the non-refundable rate, the hotel agreed to refund us our payment. These are the type of "human" gestures that are greatly appreciated and not forgotten. I would book here again.
Check in was very impersonal. The room was okay. Perhaps we were turned off on the visit because we were offered breakfast for 7 dollars and took it. However when we were there we were informed that we would be charged fr anything over 10 dollars, and when you go to breakfast, everything is overpriced. We had only a minimum breakfast and it was still about 11 dollars each. If we would have had eggs it would have been quite a bit more. We considered this misleading, and would suggest that if you are making reservations, avoid taking breakfast with the room. You can do so much better having your breakfast elsewhere.
We stayed at this hotel on our way to Montreal. We arrived around 9 pm after driving 4-5 hours. We were put in a room next to a group who had a wedding the next day. They were incredibly loud; there were at least 15 people in a single room and another 5 children running down the hallways. I was disappointed that we were put next to them. It’s a no brainer that family and friends would get together and have a good time, so why annoy other customers by giving them the surrounding rooms? Came down again with our luggage to find out ‘there wasn’t anything else available’. We had to really insist that we are not going to take that room due loud noise. We were offered a smaller bed with a $10 dls discount. As we were so tired, we didn’t care. It was much better for sure. Room service leftovers were left in the hallways all night long. We woke up around 8 for breakfast and the dirty dishes were still in the hallways. It’s disgusting to have to walk around trays with dirty smelly dishes. Restaurant looked like it had a good ambience at night, they had someone playing live music. If we weren’t that tired and had to change rooms we could have had a drink for sure! Breakfast at the restaurant was good. Good flavors and not overpriced.
You will have to venture away from the cluster of chain hotels located on the Trans-Canada "strip" to find the Four Points, which is situated in the center of town, but is it well worth the extra two kilometers. Despite the downtown location, parking is still free, conveniently located in a lot directly across the street. Check in was the friendliest and fastest I have ever encountered in New Brunswick. The room was nicely appointed and the beds were incredibly soft and comfortable - we had a great sleep! Another bonus for weary travelers is that there is fully licensed restaurant attached to the hotel lobby. I understand that it's independently owned and operated, and so I will save the food review for another category, but after a long day of driving we really appreciated having the option of dining on-site. We were there on a Friday night and the live entertainment in the restaurant was wonderful. You should check it out if you are there as I understand that the musician is a Friday evening regular. On the downside, the water pressure in the shower was honestly pathetic - it took forever to rinse my hair after shampooing. Management should investigate ways to improve the situation. Nonetheless, the amazingly comfortable bed trumps the sub-par shower, and this will be our go-to hotel in Edmundston in the future, as we travel through frequently on route to Cape Breton.
