It does not as comfort as it looks like from web pictures. Heating is an old air condition near the window which is either too hot or too cold. Shower water is difficult to control either and I can't get warm bath after a full chilly day around Edmonton. The staffs were willing to help but they are less experienced on how to accommodate a guest request to change a quiet room, anyway, staying is just OK but need further improvement.

I've stayed a couple of times over the last year. The hotel is very basic which is fine by me. The rooms are OK and generally the hotel has been quiet but it's the little things that detract. The elevator can be erratic, wi-fi connections are sporadic and slow, and when you need to print a boarding pass or map, the internet kiosk in the lobby often does not work. The attached restaurant is passable if you're looking for basic diner-style food but you're better off hunting out other options in the area.

There's just one guest elevator in the whole building! I personally think the building need renovations but overall the room was neat! Love the way they fold the towels. The first time I went there there wasn't any shower curtain, so all the water will spread on the floor, however I noticed some changes made and they are improving everyday! I would recommend the hotel, centrally located, but it definitely need some renovations

Room is pretty average. Only 1 small, slow elevator. Shower had hot and cold taps and cannot keep a consistent temperature. Beds were hard. TV is HD but resolution is not. Overall: Decent hotel. Good location for the price.

it was over all good... nice location and very good rooms...

No fitted sheets, so always having to readjust sheet that was too small to tuck in well under the mattress. Air conditioning was off in entire building on the second night

My wife and I needed a room for one night in downtown Edmonton to accommodate an early morning appointment. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was quite large, very clean, with a great mattress. Parking was included and we were told that although checkout was noon, we could leave our car there beyond noon. It was a short walk (less than 5 minutes) to the subway station--that saved us the hassle and expense of getting another parking spot. Breakfast was not included with the room, but there is a place right next door (Alberts)--we had the breakfast special which arrived very quickly and was a very good meal and great value. In summary, clean, comfortable and excellent value.

Ultimately there is only so much you can do with an older structure and floor plan, but this hotel is in serious need of an upgrade/update. Other than that, decent value, location and efficient staff

Cheap place to stay. No amenities or free breakfast. Good place if you're just visiting edmonton. You need to have a car rental or a friend in order to go to different places.

very good location, close to the downtown core, lrt station and walking distance to a variety of restaurants.

Shower water would jump from cold to hot but overall good value

Nice Hotel, aging a little, but the people care about keeping it up and running. I really really liked the staff. The hotel seems to be run by a team of people who care and want guests to enjoy their stay. I was there in the middle of a heat wave, and much of downtown Edmonton is a construction zone - this is not something that the hotel can do anything about.

Great location in the heart of DT Edmonton The room was near an elevator and parkade so it got loud at night but would stay again if in different area

The staff is not very friendly. They are not particularly eager to help you with anything to say the least. For example if you put the "Do not disturb sign" out, and then take it down and leave the room around 11am, don't expect them to clean up your room. When it rains water might run into your room. Staff usually responds by saying "the rain should stop soon". The fan in the bathroom and on the hallways are *really* loud. And you cannot turn them off - ever. Sketchy people hang around the hotel. While I was there the police came at least twice to remove people.

The hotel itself is great. The staff was amazing and even the restaurant staff was great. The shower was something of a problem as the temperature went from one extreme to another and didnt stay hot very long. I was also in a room that was next to the parkade door and elevator on the 3rd floor so i could hear the door slamming at all hours of the night. Other than that, the room was clean and extremely comfortable. Would stay again but only if im not in the same location

Eventhough this hotel is approximately 30 minutes from the airport, you can get the Sky Shuttle for $18 from the airport and $12 return. Staff were very nice and the room was very clean! Boston Pizza and Papa John's within walking distance plus Albert's restaurant within the hotel.

The location was right in the heart of downtown Edmonton. Though, for those of you wanting to take a taxi from the airport, it is about a 35 minute drive, but that's true for anything in Edmonton, proper... the airport is just way south of the town. The hotel room itself was pleasant, but the two key cards that we had needed to be "re-charged" or reprogrammed every time we took off... both of the cards acted this way. The front desk staff said the key cards are old and react poorly to other cards in the wallet or cell phones, but I've had plenty of other key cards that never behaved this badly. Other than that, the staff was pleasant, the room clean and comfortable, and it was a short ride to the Jubilee Auditorium (~7 minutes) as well as the West Edmonton Mall (~12 minutes). We rented a car, but the bus stops are very close to the hotel.

We were there to visit family. Its a good thing we didn't spend much tine in the room. the walls were thin and the beds were very hard. It was hard to sleep.

The hotel's location is nice. The front desk staff is very helpful. I'll definitely go back!

This place was absolutely fantastic. We had a hot tub in our room and many amenities including drinks and snacks. I really enjoyed the heated parking, so I could get into a car which was already warm. The room service was great, specially bed in breakfast.
