This has been by far my worst experience in booking an apartment. I booked a three bedroom at st Giles apartment only to realise that it’s on the 4th floor with no lift and with 6 bags n 4 kids we had to drag the luggage all the way . When we entered the apartment the master bathroom had a leak and the tub class divided was broken becos of which my son had a bad fall. The washing machine dryer was not working and the worst was that there was no housekeeping . So when we came back on the second day in the evening the beds were not bad and the apartment not serviced . This is not what u expect on a holiday esp with kids . I’m super disappointed and will not recommend this place to anyone . BEWARE of false claim .
Would recommend this apartment to everyone, the location couldn't have been better. The size of the apartment was perfect for two but had room for more people as well. Freshly furnished. Unfortunately the beds were very hard so if your picky with the beds this might not be for you.
Both apartments we booked are located close to each other. The units were in good condition, clean & the 3 bedroom’s apartment had a lovely large kitchen. The only thing was wifi at the smaller apartment was not working properly & we have to use the other wifi from the unit below and the strengh was so weak and sometimes no internet at all. Abdul Rauf/Abs, the person that welcome us at the apartment was a great person to deal with. He went above and beyond and helps us with our hundred luggages & strollers. Abs also arrange to help store our luggage after check out so we could do last minute town tour before our train departs. ABS, Paula and the rest of stay city edinburgh apartment crew has been absolutely helpfuland nice throughout our stay!..thank you so much Overall, the apartment are lovely & nicely located, we would recommand it to family and friends. Thankyou!! Best regards, NADYA Shahabuddin
We got a 4 bedroom 3 bath Flat for not much more than a single hotel room. We were on the Royal Mile. A block away Victoria St. A 5 min walk to the Grass Market. Less than 10 min to the Castle. The location was great and the flat was updated and clean. The only thing to be aware of, if you have issues with stairs. The building was probably 400 yrs old and our apartment was on the 3rd floor. Only a stone spiral staircase available to get the the flat. We are in our 60s and we had not trouble but people who are not in good shape my have problems. They have flats all over the city. I would assume they will have something to fit your needs. We loved it and we will stay there again the next time we visit.
My partner and myself rented an apartment for weekend, right by royal mile, everything on our doorstep. Apartment was very spacious, clean and well presented. We were very impressed and had off road parking. Would recommend
We were so impressed with the apartment! Fantastic location so central and everything is within walking distance. The apartment was a great size, with a well equipped kitchen. It was very clean and the only complaint would be the amount of stairs we had to climb to get to it - a worthy sacrifice for some good views! Will be recommending to anyone we know who heads to Edinburgh!
My friend and I booked into the Apartment on the Royal Mile. Perfect Location, we walked everywhere. Stay here if you can . We were delighted that we got upgraded to 2 bed Apt. The staff were very friendly and walked us up to our flat. The apartment was very clean, big and had absolutely everything you could wish for.
The apartments were excellent value for a group of 4 couples. Close to everything we needed. Although dated with a couple of problem doors to the bathrooms, these were mentioned to the custodians and did not detract from our stay. the apartment was convenient and spacious and we would use again.
Stayed at their Cowgatehead flats next to Grass Market. Loved the location. Close to lots of bars and restaurants. The best was the Namaste up Candlemakers road and past Greyfriars Bobby. About five mins max. Flat had all you would expect. Clean co for table and well equipped. Quite compact but find for three nights. Only reason I didn't give a five star rating is that I reserve that for reviews of places with a bit of a wow factor and this apartment didn't really have that but I still strongly reconmend it as an excellent place to stay. Far better than any hotel room.
We did stay a few days in Edinburgh with family. 3 bedroom apartment, very well equiped and very well located. A pleasant stay in the wonderful city. The only issue may be the parking location nearby (always challenging in Edinburgh city center). Enjoy your stay.
