Stayed here for a stag do. Was three in our room. But there was only two single beds. Camp bed provided was very uncomfortable. Sofa not big enough to sleep on. Apartment was clean. Breakfast is provided in room. Note to management check the date on your products you provide. Check in and out was easu
Turned up at 21:30 after making a booking on booking.com. Initially, he moaned about being late saying we needed to be at reception by 10. Chap was unwilling to allow us to see room and wanted to charge £20 for the privilege. He then changed his mind and said it was 9. Appreciate he had a large crowd to sort out before us but there is no need to be so rude to your customers. Would not recommend.
The apartments were not that close to the City Centre as specified, quite a long walk. Attention to detail needs to be addressed with regards to the cleanliness of the apartment, but when we spoke to reception any issues were immediately sorted out, cannot fault their service. One main issue was we were on the ground floor right by reception and other guests were standing outside our bedroom window at 3.30 am smoking and talking loudly with their phones ringing, perhaps a notice should be put up to avoid this. Also the cleaners start early and they too are quite noisy. Free wifi didn't work and kept dropping out. As it was busy in Edinburgh the apartment was costly for the service we received.
Not value for money as what we paid in comparison with what we got at other places for 1/6th of the price. Needs refurbishing. Floors were sticky, fridge flooded, towels were smelly, bedding was old. Internet was sketchy. On a positive note, the place was Spacious and they supplied oats for breakfast.
Situated well for public transport such as train stations, bus etc. We didn't eat out every night and the shops were close by for amenities as well as eating out etc. The service was good. Mohammed couldn't have helped enough. We were put in the wrong room the first night and changed to our correct room. Staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived at the apartment after flying from Australia at around 8.00 am and were let in to sleep.
350/night for room for 6 people. Had to have hot water turned on for loss of water pressure. Happened again the next morning. Delayed appts on both occasions. Told by the office that it was normal for water to go out while on holiday. Treated like a snot ruffian by owner and staff because I expect to have hot water while on holiday. Don't waste your money here.
Stayed here with family in 2 Bhk serviced apartment for 3 days, apartment was superb with all services like fully equipped kitchen, heater, led, internet, cozy beds, towels, breakfast items like milk, jam, cereals, etc. If i again visit Edinburgh,i will definitely stay here again.
We stayed at the apartments 16th june -18th june. I would say for how much you will be paying in taxi fares to and from the apartment you would be better staying in the city centre. We had booked 5 apartments to accommodate 20 people, however, on arrival we were provided with only 4 apartments which contained a combination of beds and camp beds. This was not as booked and on explaining the error the receptionist was most unhelpful and at what point even slammed her hands down on the counter and walked into the back office. They had no spare rooms so it is clear that they take booking through agencies (the agency we used being last night of freedom) and then re let rooms that should have been booked out. They gave us the keys for the apartments and luckily a few of us checked the rooms before everyone traipsed around to find apartment 8 hadn't been cleaned at all since the last occupants and was filthy. So we had to then wait for this room to be cleaned despite it already being late afternoon. The bed linen was well worn and pillows lumpy. Staff were generally disgruntled and not welcoming. Apartments were in a run down part of the city, not the kind of place you would be wanting to walk around on your own. The only good comment to be had is that milk and bread were provided which saved a visit to the rather dodgy looking shops. My advise is to avoid like the plague there is a good reason they rank very low on trip advisor.
The location is good on bus route into City Centre and Leith, buses every 15 minutes. The apartment had good heating. Beds comfortable and it was clean but needed a little TLC. Our apartment was not very well provided for in the kitchen, no bowl for mixing, very sparse cutlery, no scissors, had to go to reception for lighter for hob. It was OK for us as we ate out but more difficult if you planned to eat in ! Two cleaners came in without knocking on morning of departure could have been embarassing !! Window blinds scruffy, kitchen surface damaged leaving sharp edge. You need a spoon to operate the shower !! Despite this we would return !
After reading several reviews, we were apprehensive about staying. However, we were pleasantly surprised! We stayed In apartment 145/14 although a little tired, it's was good value for money! The icing on the cake, was Michael, who called to fill the tea and coffee up and I asked him if there was a local shop to buy prosecco,, to which he replied I'll go for you! Such a love, he returned 20 minutes later with prosecco in hand! Much appreciated, can't fault the service. A diamond in the rough 😉
