Good quality room. Couple of minor maintenance issues and a lack of bedside lamps but otherwise has everything you need. We booked for an overnight stay as it was cheaper than hotels in the area and the staff were friendly and the room had kitchen, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine etc. If I had to travel for business for a few days I'd prefer this than a hotel as it gives you more of a sense of home while you're there.

It's located in Morrison street but to check in and pick up the keys one has to walk half way up Grove street. This adds another 20mins on walking time and not suitable if you have large bags. The apartment is basic- level of a student let.Was given the basement apartment 1 as it was quiet facing the back but on must have forgot about he vibrations from what imagine is the nearby Trainline of the trains going from Waverley to Haymarket which is underground. This starts at 630 and therefore the rude awakening.This continued through the morning and gets more frequent. What was felt to be a quiet room in the minds of the concierge is really the worse room one can have to sleep in. The other issue was the banging from works being done possible from a neighbouring building!

Well these apartments are marketed as 'quality serviced apartments' and graded 3*. Sorry but they don't live up to the marketing! I had a basement apartment and there were bags of clean and dirty laundry right outside the door partially blocking access and pest control poison round the corner along with broken furniture. I'm sure the fire service wouldn't be impressed at the blockage of escape routes. On arrival you have to walk circa half a mile or so (past drunken and foul mouthed youths) to collect the keys and return to the accommodation which is on a busy road next to takeaways and opposite a very nice little bar. I also had to endure the constant rumble of trains or trams late into the night and early morning. The free wifi was good, but the TV had no signal and there was barely a mobile phone signal in the basement. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was otherwise sparsely furnished. I would not choose thus accommodation again and would stick to hotels in future based on this experience of serviced accommodation.

Really nice room, everything what you need is there including tee, coffee, coffee milk, salt, pepper, sugar, cleaning products. Nice service. Perfect localisation close to the International Conference Center. Reasonable price.

Stayed at apartments for business for two weeks. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Facilities are very good as is the location. I am not keen on hotels so this was a very good alternative for me. Highly recommended

I recently stayed at the Morrison Street apartments with my mother. In comparison to the Royal Garden (where I've also stayed), the Morrison Street apartments are not updated. That said, the apartment was clean, in good working order and as advertised. The rate was extremely reasonable for an apartment with all of its amenities. I would definitely stay there again. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

I am a genuine fan of fountain court apartments. I love their various locations in Edinburgh, their efficient set-up and extremely helpful staff. Apartments - while initially appearing quite basic - are actually "all you need" with incredibly comfortable beds and immaculate well-equipped bathroom and kitchen. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. Being there without my family, I enjoyed how compact and beju my apartment was whilst still fulfilling all my needs. I would recommend them to others.

We have booked here for the last few month and the service and accommodation has been fantastic . I would highly recommend any of this companies properties in Edinburgh to businesses and private booking.

Stayed in Morrison Street Apartment in Room 3F2. The room and stay was comfortable even though it was too warm and could not find a way to reduce the heaters. Not much info was to be found in the "black information booklet' available there. So, I try to call the Reception at Grove Street. I could neither find the Reception Number (mentioning as Reception Number) in the Black Book or a sticker in the Telephone indicating the number. Moreover, it was not mentioned anywhere that the call to this reception number is free. This is very bad communcation standards. Reception is something for emergency it is should is easily accessible for the guest and free of cost. Fearing the cost of local call from apartment telephone, I call the number 0131 622 6677 which is the Grove Street number in the Green visting card given by the reception while I checked in. The number is picked up by someone from one of the 8 hotels and not the Grove Street reception and this person gives me a number (9) 07780 665 273 and assures me that its free from the apartment telephone. I call this number and the gentleman (mr. Balazs) picks up the call and as i was checking the reception number the call was intercepted by a lady (Ms. Mary Vergin) to whom i explain the struggle i had to undergo to reach the reception. She accepted the suggestions and before asking for why I had tried to reach the receptions, she hangs the call on my face. This is unacceptable, rude behaviour from a Reception Staff of a service Industry. I was trying give a very important feedback for improvement of the facilities and for the benefit of all the future guests in the apartment. Banging the phone while talking was not the kindest of things that too without asking why I was desprate to reach the reception. I had to call back the same number and speak to Mr. Balazs to get my questions answered. I would still stay in the future as well in the apartment as it is good and conveniently located, except for this one off incidence. Hope the put the Reception Number on the telephone itself in the future and mention is is free from the Apartment Telephone.

Very good location about a 10min walk to town. Nice bars and pubs nearby. The apartment had all the bits you would need in a place like this but it needs a good deep clean, paint, new carpet/very creaky floor boards, just needs a good update. The main door to the apartment dose not feel secure when you lock it to go out. Compared to all the other properties they have got you would think this would be a bit more like them. The good think is you do get discount from local bars and restaurants near by.
