Novotel Gdansk Centrum

The best thing about this Novotel is its location because the historic part of Gdansk is just a short walk from the hotel. That said, the rooms are functional rather than attractive, the decor is dated and the lobby is minimalist. We were there earlier this month and we spent as little time as possible in our room. You should look for an alternative place to stay.

Thank you for a nice stay! The room was very clean, comfy and double bed was just great! Welcome compliment made me smile <3 Location- nothing could be better ... I recommend everyone this hotel who wants to be comfy and closed to the heart of the city

Usual Novotel - nothing special but you know exactly what you are getting for the money. Good location near to Delugi Tag, approx 5 mins walk away. Reasonably priced for a big city 4 star hotel but I think nicer hotels are available

Doesn't look very inspiring from outside but it has a lot going for it. Most important for me was the location. So close to everything in central Gdansk and just a few minutes easy stroll to the main Old Town attractions and the Waterfront & Marina. Surrounded by attractive bars and restaurants not more than a couple of minutes walk. About 2 minute walk to a 24hr convenience store. Built close to a major road, but no noise disturbance. The bedroom was very good. Air conditioned, free safe, great bathroom and comfortable bed. In addition to the standard tea/coffee facilities it even had a Japanese tea set with Green Tea & Cherry Blossom. The view from my room was ok but I understand that some rooms have much better views over the old town. I don't usually eat breakfast in hotels because there are usually much better options outside, but did use the hotel for breakfast today and was very impressed. Wide range of hot & cold breakfasts from a buffet. And it really did consist of a wide choice - for example three different types of hot sausage, two types of pate etc. Better than the breakfast I had outside the previous day. The only criticism I have is the high price of drinks in the bar. But there is a much better option outside - go though the garden to the car park and just across the road is a bar called Elewator No. 19. A well stocked and comfortable bar with much cheaper drinks (including 29 bottled craft beers from Poland). Altogether, a great town to visit and a fantastic hotel to stay in with very helpful and professional staff.

I honestly can’t figure out why this hotel isn’t rated higher as our stay here was absolutely perfect. Our room wasn’t quite ready when we arrived (before official check-in time) so we were given coupons for two free drinks at the bar, which was nice. We were also upgraded to the “Rock Room” which was a bit quirky and fun. The room included a mini bar, safe and coffee facilities. The hotel decor is clean and modern, including the lobby which has comfy modern seating and various games available. However, it’s the gardens and patio that make this hotel something special. The weather was extremely hot during our visit and being able to sit out on the attractive patio with shaded seating was very pleasant, day or night. The hotel breakfasts were also wonderful. The selection and range of food was vast and I particularly enjoyed the continental selection, with a fantastic selection of fresh artisan breads, croissants and various sweet breads and pastries. This hotel will certainly be our first choice for any return visits to Gdansk.

Good comfortable hotel, only a very short walk from the old town. Breakfast fine, both hot and cold buffet available. Comfortable bed. We had a superior room, but probably didn't need it. Helpful staff. There is a pleasant outside area where you can take breakfast on warm days.

Very good hotel, friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Lovely garden, perfect for eating outside as the weather was beautiful. Large, and comfortable room. Situated just a few minutes from the iconic Green Gate leading in to the old town.

Modern and clean. Full breakfast, service a bit slow. Popular restaurant, althogh we didn't try it our selves. Lobby area very children friendly. Gym facilities. Nice back quiet yard. Walking distance to Old Town. Staff in reception always helpfull. Taxis never more than 7 min away.

When we had arrived to this Hotel, the Novotel ,the Staff with Mr. Marek on the head made our stay here at Gdansk unforgetable !!!!! Mr. Marek is a young responsable man Good impression received ! The hotel is very good located! Only 300 meters from the old city! Excellent breakfast ! helpfully Staff Very clean the place in general! I warmly recommend it !

It's a Novotel, so all fairly standard stuff. The location is great for the town centre and it's very nice and quiet. The breakfast buffet is good and it's close to many good restaurants for the evening if you don't want to eat in the hotel. The rooms are a good size and well laid out.
