This was up to the Marriott Standard of properties. I was greeted upon arrival and while on property. Parking was great and location was perfect. I will definitely stay here when I am in Memphis.

This hotel is conveniently located on Poplar Ave, which has a lot of things nearby. However, the room itself wasn't that clean. There was what appeared to be a piece of a snickers bar on the chair along with a dead roach in the light above the shower. The toilet was running and while the woman at the front desk was incredibly sweet and sent someone right away, maintenance did not resolve the issue as the toilet continued to run throughout our stay. Overall, it is in a convenient location but mediocre at best. I would recommend staying elsewhere.
I wanted to surprise my husband with a night away from home and the children and the Marriott made it happen without any hesitation. My check in went wonder and the young lady that checked me gave very helpful tips and information about the property. Our room was very spacious and the cleanest I've ever stayed in and I travel for work. So GREAT JOB MARRIOTT EAST!! I will be back.
