Wyndham Tortola BVI Lambert Beach Resort

The beach front room was spacious, well appointed and newly refurbished. Nice touches like the USB sockets by the nightstands. The small bar fridge was handy for keeping drinks cool although it was such a snug fit in the cupboard I found it difficult to get my fingers in to open it. The smart TV in the room was new but not receiving any TV channels but the internet connection worked well. The food in the restaurant was good with a wide choice on the menu the mahi mahi was the tastiest I’ve had anywhere. The communication between the waitress and the kitchen at breakfast could be better with a few orders coming out wrong. I put this down to teething problems as they’d only opened 2 weeks before. The welcome was very friendly and luggage was taken to our room on a golf cart which made life easy, especially as we arrived late due to delayed flights. They kept the kitchen open so we were able to get food after hours which was a nice touch. The pool is very large and clean with plenty of space on the pool deck with lots of sun beds and umbrellas for shade. They were still landscaping the grounds around the apartment blocks and some apartments continue to be renovated but the work wasn’t intrusive. Altogether we had a very relaxing stay and I would stay here again.
