    • Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service

Rooms were comfortably furnished, location and view excellent. Service was good, but had to make up for poor readiness. We lacked scrubber or sponge for dishes, no extra trash bags. These were delivered promptly. Batteries failed on thermostat, so no ac! (We discovered that bedroom window was inoperable - slipped out of track when trying to open.) None were available and they were not provided as promised after stores opened Monday. For a condo in a location that almost requires cooking for yourself, kitchen was POORLY equipped. However, the pluses outweighed the minuses. I'd still go back

    Awesome Hotel

Spent little time at the hotel but found it to be a very pleasant place to live, spacious apartments, very clean and peaceful area.

In Sep 2017 we picked this resort from Expedia in a hurry when we were stranded in the Caymans because of hurricanes. All communications with the resort were via email. There is no 'front desk' or services, & guests check themselves in, so no staff to rate. It was very quiet &secluded, & I only saw 2 other people the whole 3 days-- 1 person cleaning the lovely pool, & one other guest who stayed to themselves. The full apartment was overlooking the sea on a rocky shoreline, with the celebrated Cayman Brac bluff just across the road behind the resort. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, nicely decorated, clean, & well appointed with everything one could need, including Laundry Room, a full bath for each bedroom, TV & Internet. Large windows in the Living Room and Bedroom afforded incredible views of the sea. The one drawback that it is was quite a distance from 'town', and at the opposite end of the island from the Dive Resort and airport, with a 20-mile drive each way. It was a straight road, so not a bad drive, and the reasonable price of the resort, and peace and quiet made it worthwhile, but a rental car is an absolute necessity. The resort is just a half mile from the end of the island where one of the numerous caves is. The wildlife-- birds, crabs of various types, are interesting. Cayman Brac is quite a unique place to visit, very different from the other islands we've been to, and with the caves along the bluff, it was a safe haven from the hurricanes.

Pros: The lovely rooms, large windows overlooking ocean and pool, relaxing atmosphere, uniqueness of the surroundings.

Cons: With being right on the water, the salt air condenses on the front windows. I had to clean them to be able to see the beautiful views.

Location: Numerous caves to explore, 1 is just a half mile away, decent public beach w/BH a short drive. The Lighthouse & overlook are about a 15-mile drive.

    Cayman Brac Waterfront Condominium

Nice facility. Great ocean views. No beach. Snorkeling and diving entry point 100 yards away when sea conditions are not too rough. Rental car or scooters a must as Cayman Breakers is about 8 miles from town. Check-in is by email so monitor your inbox while travelling. Bring reading materials!

    Pros: Seaside setting

Cons: Chamber of commerce should organize plastic container cleanups as all shore everywhere is littered with trash floating in from other islands.

Location: Cayman Brac is known as a dive destination. There are very few beaches and none of them are outstanding.

The condo was dirty had rat droppings all over. Also had nats, flies, and ants. Could not stay. The rats were not scared to come out night or day. There is a hole in the wall beside the refrigerator where they can come and go as they please. The ac would not below 78. There were 3 tvs in the condo and none of them worked. Rebecca Ebanks who manages the condo was very rude to me.

    Pros: Nothing

    Cons: Everything.

Location: Far away from anything and nothing to do. You can't scuba dive or snorkel because the beach is coral.
