First thing I found when I arrived in eindhoven is how everything is within walking distance. I got off the bus from the airport at the train station and walked to the sandton in 15 minutes. I was advised that booking in was at 3pm, so, as it was only 12:30 pm, I thought I'd pop in and ask if I could leave my bag there, and book in at 3pm. The member of staff checked, and said my room was ready, and would I like to book in now? Bonus! The rooms themselves aren't fantastic, but for a short stay (3 nights) are more then adequate. No tea making facilities, but you'll survive! Some reviews have complained about the beds being too soft, but give them a try! I sank into mine on the first night and loved it!! Another complaint in some reviews have been that the streets can be noisy, due to being close to bars. The hotel isn't that close, and if you ask for a top floor room, you won't notice any noise whatsoever. Also, a glass of wine helps! If you ask for your room not to be cleaned, the hotel will buy you a drink in the bar! If I come back to eindhoven again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay in this hotel again. The staff are uber friendly, as is most of eindhoven!
Overall a good impression. Sometimes happened noise issues that could effect the resting after the working day. Good food and excellent staff, cozy rooms and beds, 7 min walk from the Markt square and 15 min from the train station.
This is a very nice hotel, nicely located, not far away from the canal. The breakfast is very good and the staff very friendly. The only drawbacks were that we could hear the traffic and the neighboring rooms somewhat.
We were allocated a very nice room with lots of windows and a very comfortable bed, a table and six chairs. The hotel staff were lovely and very friendly. We would rate this hotel much higher if it had A/C.
Happy with our four nights in this hotel. 30' pleasant walk from the university. Breakfast was good quality and fresh, just the right selection. Sound insulation let street noise in, which was somewhat inconvenient at night.
The hotel is nicely located near the city center. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms and and other areas are clean. But rooms are not equipped enough for modern 3 star hotel. There is no air condition, there is only one power socket and it is located near the entrance to the room (under the desk). The desk is small and is someone uses it nobody can enter or exit the room. One cannot charge phone and computer simultaneously. I don't want to know what happens when 2 people occupies this room. Beds are too soft and because of that I did not sleep well in the hotel. At breakfast there is small selection of dishes while food quality is good.
Fantastic hotel had a great stay here staff was friendly and helpful I would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel you will not be disappointed once again thankyou for a great stay I will be returning.
I had "deluxe" for two nights and "suite" for one night. Deluxe is just a simple room, not very clean, sticky bathroom floor, no mini bar, cheap toiletries. Their best room "suite" and most expensive room does not even have AC, even person at front desk admitted it is not right. It's just a little bigger room than a deluxe with additional table. It was also very smelly. No noise isolation, we could hear every word people in next room said. We asked for a suite with AC, as we were promised on the phone, but they offered to move back to deluxe with AC and refund price difference. I paid around 25 euros more for suite, but they offered only 10 euros refund because "it regular price difference". But i paid more and didn't get it! Also, when leaving their manager has “managed” to ruin our day by following us on the street and telling things like (I quote him): • “..you’re being CRAZY” • “…I don’t wan’t customers like you in MY hotel” • “…you’re lying, you’re wrong”; My wife and I was shocked and could not believe this is happening in Europe. So my recommendation would be - choose another hotel in Eidhoven. This one is only nice in pictures and staff is rude. P.s. house keeping starts knocking your door ar 8:40 am and ENTERS THE ROOM without waiting for answer! Never seen anything like this anywhere.
The hotel was booked on my behalf by my organisation, and I had no problems with it at all. I particularly liked the toiletries. Would not hesitate to recommend, but good to check how much light each room receives.
extraordinary friendly and supportive staff, great central location for a very good price! Rooms have all one needs, tentatively small though. Good connectivity to local transport and city center incl. train station in walking distance even with luggage. Looking forward to my next stay!
