This was the best hotel experience I have had in quite some time! I booked last minute and received a call shortly after checking on my arrival time and letting me know where to pull in. When I got there, the owner had stopped by and upgraded my room. The fresh-baked cookies they had out for the evening were delicious, as was the breakfast the next morning. Every staff member was super friendly and helpful. Room was comfy and quiet! Only thing I would suggest would be softer sheets :-). Definitely will stay again!
My girlfriends and I stayed here for my birthday weekend. It was lovely! They have an adorable bar, a nice breakfast, and beautiful rooms. It was fun to be right by downtown!
Such a clean and friendly place to stay. It is an older hotel very well maintained close to downtown activities.
The staff could not be more courteous, pleasant and hospitable! We have friends that live in Durango and they recommended we stay here. We will definitely stay here again. Perfect location to the main part of Old Durango. You can walk to all the shops, restaurants, train station, etc.! The breakfast every morning is an added treat! Fruit, granola, cereals, freshly baked scones, muffins, coffee cake served everyday along with a hot breakfast. Super good coffee too! In the afternoon make sure you get some of their special homemade cookies and refreshing ice tea!
