Super 8 Durango

Nice, updated rooms. Clean, comfortable. Quiet. Across the street from mini golf & bbq.

This place was disgustingly dirty. I would sleep outdoors before I'd stay at this property again. The only good part of the entire stay was the clerk at the desk, he was very courteous.

I have stayed in much nicer Super 8's. Our room was on the second floor at the far end. The only elevator was at the front end. The room key/card would not work on the back door, closest to our room.

If you are looking for an adequate hotel with no problems and helpful amenities like a fridge and a microwave and a good breakfast, Super 8 in Durango gets you all that for likely less than anyone else. Go for it.

Nice, clean basic hotel, close to downtown Durango. Good place to stay when visiting.

Rooms were clean and spacious. Great value. I would definitely recommend if you are on a budget.

Super friendly and helpful staff welcomed me to this remodeled property. Room decor was a nice surprise! Comfy bed; if bedding included a blanket cover or duvet it would have been perfect!

This hotel is dated, dirty and loud. Rude, dismissive, indifferent staff round out a bad experience. Really, there are no good qualities to report for this property. The beds and pillows are poor, the carpet and walls dirty, soiled bathroom and sink. Even the hallways are drab. There was trash all around the parking lot, lots of truck/traffic noise, and the HVAC unit was amazingly loud too, too loud to run, and there was so much noise from the parking area and street that the window couldn't be open. Stifling. Moreover, the hotel staff was remarkably rude, even for this type of hotel, and absolutely indifferent to customers. Stay anywhere else.

Location was good for me. bathroom was clean but room was a bit different. There was this disgusting, stained chair. Don't know why they would keep something like that in the room. Also not sure when last time they washed the bedspread. Wouldn't walk barefoot on rug. Stayed there for the price but don't think I would stay again.

The staff were very helpful. Rooms were clean and "no smoking" really was not smoked in. Bed was too hard for hubby, but I was okay. Continental breakfast was good, no skimping there! We went for a motorcycle rally and were allowed to park our bikes under the registration awning, and they also had clean rags outside for cleanup! Overall pretty nice.

The front desk was very friendly and helpful. We only had a short time to spend in Durango and they helped make it count.

We travel with our small dog. The hotel pet policy is that you cannot leave your dog unattended in the room. We weren;t told that until after we checked in and the room was paid for. We have always left our dog in the room while we sightsee. The staff was unfriendly. The rooms were terrible. Glad it was just for one night. Will never stay there again!

We cannot believe that an "area" or "season" can command such high rates for such mediocre facilities and service.

We were disappointed that the high rates due to 'area' and 'season' resulted in such poor quality

If you're looking for cheap, this is it. But keep in mind that you get what you pay for. Not impressed. It will only be in desperation that I would stay here again. Staff was great, but that's all it's got going for it. Beds were hard as a rock, as were the chairs. Not enough tables for the continental breakfast so we couldn't even sit down to eat.

good price. room was clean. staff was friendly and helpful.

Average hotel. Good value. You get what you pay for.

Would like to say thank-you to Arlene who made our stay a pleasant one, When we arrived after along travel day at 5:00 PM our room was not ready. She accommodated us with an upgrade and saved the day so we could have a pleasant overnight stay. Thank-you Arlene.

we only stayed one night as we were passing throught was easy access, clean and nice people

The hotel was well located for the airport location. The room was spacious and clean and suited my needs. The cost was a little high for a Super 8 but was still lower than many motels in the area.

Thank you for noticing our updated rooms and them being comfortable as well as them being quiet. The BBQ Restaurant across the street and the mini golf are a lot of fun.
