I don't like the room The food quality and less choice The housekeeping service bad Room smells bad Noise in my room I don't recommend this hotel to anyone very bad experience Never comeback again Thank you
Great hotel, excellent location between Königsallee, Altstadt and park. Good relaxed atmosphere. No stif upper lips but great service and ambiance. Good food and drinks, bars, breakfast. Sleeping comfort and nice rooms. Only the bathrooms could use a touch of modernising and luxury in such a hotel.
Restaurant was booked by a party, and so was the bar. Nobody had informed my in advance, or at check-in. They have tried to book restaurants in the neighbourhood but everything was fully booked (not a surprise during the Christmas weekend) Bad service, never again at this hotel.
Top location. Very nice and big room. Great staff. I had a stiff back from the bed after the first night but they made the necessary changes immediately and to the mark. Must stay here when in dusseldorf.
We went to Christmas market in Duesseldorf because we had last minute to reservate, we took this hotel. Everything went good even when there was a little mistake with the reservation. It was our first time in a 5star hotel. Everything was okay only in the bathroom the buttons for tv/radio didn't work but not a really problem. The personal was really kind and gave good tips. We are going to come back to this hotel but probably also try maybe others of the Steigenberger hotels. This hotel is great for going to the Christmas market, you are in the center of it, you can see a lot of musea, shopping, easy for taking the subway, you can even go out.
The hotel reception, bar, and location are great. However, the WiFi here, for a high class hotel, is beyond terrible! The signal is weak, and when you finally connect, it’s super slow. Please invest in updating your routers and speed!
Wonderful hotel in a very good location, shops and restaurants right across the street. Clean, large and very nice rooms. Bed gets turned down for the night. Breakfast was a bit too expensive for my liking.
Amazing!! A place of exception where you find exceptional people that turns this even greater! Every information given during reservation was turned into a nice attention. So nice! You’re welcome there like you’re a well known client. Even if it is the first time you come. The location is perfect of course
Not cheap for us poor Brits but well worth it! No expense spared in all areas and the place was decked out in its Christmas attire ....a delight. A very nice bar served the best cup of proper tea I can recall having in Europe and fine cakes to accompany it. Plenty of wealthy Dusseldorf folk and mature visitors alike were served efficiently and discreetly! We were allocated a lovely corner room overlooking the ice rink and KO. An observation that it was a bit cold was met immediately by efficient auxiliary heating. It was furnished discreetly and the marble bathroom had a fine free standing bath and walk-in shower. Quality accessaries. The bar adjacent to the restaurant had a highly efficient team to help you with super alt beer and a plethora of spirits to tempt. The restaurant exuded class and the dishes were imaginative and of German proportions....big! They were under extreme pressure in the kitchen when we dined with the start of Xmas functions in full swing. A hundred locals were tucking in to the “Goose Menu” in one room!! This did impact on the speed of service in our restaurant as it was all hands to the pumps on occasions. The wine list was a bit flamboyant and too heavily loaded with Gallic offerings but we did find a very nice Pfalz merlot with the help of the excellent Maitre’d. I was assured that the Ch Haut Brion and Ch Mouton Rothschild at 1200 euro+ did sell occasionally....too rich for me Vladimir!! The internet connection is rubbish as my granddaughter might say but I am assured they are updating the provider. We had a great stay and I am already arranging a mortgage for our next visit!
It’s a very classy hotel. The location is great just a few minutes walk from everything you desire. The room is clean, stylish and great. It is such a classic and luxury hotel in the heart of the city.
