I have stayed in this property for a number of times since June this year and must say that each time the friendless, willing to help and go the extra mile and positive working attitude should be an example for many other properties. The staff makes you feel home and welcome each and every time you return, I could not imaging a nicer more professional attitude from staff toward their guests, truly perfect ! From the front desk, to the breakfast servcie or housekeeping everyone is putting the guest first and while doing so delivers a full establish client centric approach. The breakfast for the value it delivers is indeed on the high side, I have had the pleasure to stay in similar hotel operations in Duesseldorf with a better price value proposition. Rooms and bathrooms are fine, do deliver everything you would expect including a well set Mini Bar. Being a Senior Faculty Member of an Intern. Hospitaly & Marketing University I need to question a few issues that must relate to the company head office policy approach. Rate Managemen and Price dynamics to me at least are not in line with a modern BAR approach that a hotel company should apply, never mind in which country the hotel is operating. If you wish to get the BAR for this hotel, do make your bookings online, via TripAdvisor, Trivago, Booking.com or Expedia.com. If you book direct or you extend your stay and book direct the rates will for no less be at least 10 Euros higher, it is not easy for me to follow this strategy not to encourage direct bookings at the hotel or their webs idea, but so be it ! Again the attitude and Service delivery is simply excellent, the product for its price is well in line with the location however rate management is written at a different page. Good fact is that once you understood their price and rate management you should book accordantly and assure getting best rates online. I will always return to this hotel.
Room was clean and beds were nice and comfortable. The carpet had a few stains and marks but that's a bit trivial. There was a mini bar in the room that had fair prices but we never used it. It's a 6/7 min tram ride into the centre (aldstadt) and the tram station is round the corner from the hotel so easy access. The only let down really was the bar, it has odd opening times 11pm-11am? But then one night we were told it wasn't open at all. Breakfast is served until 10.30 but it is €15. Average hotel really. But not bad at all
We stayed 5 days in Düsseldorf and were very satisfied with our hotel. The room was very tidy and practical. It was also quiet, couldn't hear anything from other rooms. The staff was helpful and friendly. We had rented a car from the airport and needed parking. It was only available from the next day, but we got good instructions where to find a parking space for the first night. The breakfast was expensive but worth the money. It wasn't the best breakfast buffet ever, but all the essentials were included and the coffee was outstanding.
Stayed here in October while traveling with 4 friends to Germany to see a football match. The hotel is located near the U-Bahn so it is very convienent for getting into the city center of Hauptbanhof. On arrival, check in was fast, we had 2 rooms one with 3 people and one with 2, both were big, clean and cleaned every morning. The beds were big and comfortable, the bathroom and all other areas were fine too. Breakfast was not included in price so we paid 12.70 each for breakfast, I thought there could of been a bit more choice here but for 5 hungover lads it did the job. I'd recommend staying here if you are looking for accommodation that is above hostel standard but not expensive.
Quite ok, but definitely not 4 star hotel. Clean, but quite oldfashioned. Peaceful room. Breakfast basic, but not included in price, would like to have some fresh fruits. 400€ per night is very much over the quality, even it is Medica time. Maybe cheaper, when no congresses in a city.
The Novum Flora hotel is fantastic should you visit Dusseldorf, Germany. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful and you certainly get your money's worth. Also you can get excellent prices/deals depending on when you go. I went in late July- August for 10 days for less than £400. I had a single room, but even I was shocked by the size of the room; (certainly not a pidgeon-box - lol -as I have discovered with some hotels). And only a few minutes tram ride to the centre and/or river front (Rhine). Thoroughly recommended and give it 10 out of 10!! I will definitely stay there again next year. Plus Dusseldorf is so warm, and welcoming and a beautiful city.
Big rooms, good mattresses, the room is very quiet even it's faced out to the street, tiny nice and helpful staff. One negative thing is the tiny bathroom. Trams right over the street gets you to the city center.
Nice rooms. Breakfast dont know/i didnt taste. Parking cost 5 € but very little and U can not make blocked . Friends were in Novum appartement. Very nicr and clean too. Hôtel and appartement are near Düsseldorf center. Bad point.. Parking. No place. There are on in thé hôtel but very littlr and cost 5€ Climatisation in room
We got an apartment at Hotel Flora for four people for one night. The apartment was really spacious, new and clean. The staff at the reception were extremely helpful and the breakfast buffet was way beyond what we expected. Really happy with this place.
The bath-room was not very clean, neither the room. Besides, the room was noisy as the hotel is placed on a big street and in order to get to the city center you must take the tram for 20'. The stuff was not very friendly either.
