super nice and clean and well located i love the sauna and restaurant

Stayed there several times - very nice hotel would stay again

Hotel cancelled one of the three rooms I booked and made no attempts to rectify the situation, or even apologize. Still charged me and refused to refund even though we couldn't stay there. Staff is astonishingly rude, policies are illogically strict and not clearly disclosed to guests. It seems like they make up policies as problems arise. The hotel itself is clean, although the amenities are shabby and bare bones. For business travel, the hotel could be fine but it's the policies and rude staff that ruin the stay. I booked this hotel because nothing else was available in Düsseldorf. I checked into a different hotel as soon as one became available, and it was cheaper and nicer. My colleagues and I come to Düsseldorf annually, and we will never stay here again. We were disgusted with the way things were handled and I'd rather stay in a different city nearby and commute further than stay here. Customers beware; if anything in your reservation changes or needs adjusting, expect to pay full price even if it's the hotel's fault, and don't count on any assistance from staff.

I spend 5 days attending a local conference. The hotel even had free shuttles to the event. It is 15 minutes walk from the hotel along a beautiful forest. There is also a big and very reasonably priced supermarket few steps. There is also an adjacent bus and metro station. The staff were very welcoming and made my stay very comfortable.

The convenience of the shuttle to the airport was the main reason I chose this hotel, but it was quite comfortable and very clean.

Everything was ok, with the exception of the hotel restaurant host and the complicated parking. For the parking, you have to pay everytime you leave the lot, which is very inconvenient and most of the time even if you pay you can't exit the lot- you have to back and tell them that you paid and card still doesn't work to allow exit This is outrageous because you'd already be paying at least 20 Euro per night to park.

This is a clean airport hotel. Not terribly special but for one night it's okay.

We chose this hotel for being very close from Dusseldorf airport. It's even within walking distance but that would become difficult with large luggage. The hotel offers free shuttle but only in the morning and later in the evening so if you're out of luck arrive during the middle of the day. You may need to give them a call to send the shuttle over to get you at the Airport. Check the hotel's website for the number. The facilities were clean and modern. There's free wi-fi and also high-speed internet if you bring your own ethernet cable. The buffet breakfast which is included with some fares is very good. They offer eggs, cold cuts, bread, cereals, fruit, juices, coffee and tea. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They spoke English. I was able to check in early without an extra charge. Will stay again.

Excellent hotel for the business traveler. Close to the airport. Prompt and professional staff. Small but clean rooms. Restaurant has excellent food and has spaces where quiet work can be done. Only downside is internet access is in lobby only.

As I have stayed at this Location before, it is the perfect place to stay for the early flight from DUS. Easy enough to find from the Tram or to take a taxi as I had to because the shuttle does not run on the weekends...

Everything about this hotel was wonderful! Very good experience. Only trouble I had was finding it after I left the airport. Basically, you need to turn left when you leave the airport's rental car parking garage. I initially had turned right and was lost for an hour.

I stayed 2 nights at the Lindner and I definitely feel that I received a great value for my money. The staff was accommodating and the single-room was so cute, comfortable, and functional. I will definitely stay here again the next time I am in Dusseldorf.

great location, functonal and comfortable, perfect for transit cons: no free wifi

i chose this hotel because of airport shuttle. But, the shuttle run only morning and late afternoon. Also, it is so hard to find a stop. I had to wait for two hours for the shuttle at the airport, and took me for 30 minutes to find the stop. but the shuttle did not come. So, I finally took a taxi .

Most of the staff members are exceptional, but I had a bad run in with one of them who was extremely rude. I got a discount on the price or else I would have thought I overpaid. The bed, pillow and blankets were awesome! The Internet and cinema prices are outrageous! The free sauna was awesome. The mini-bar was decently priced. The have a free shuttle to the airport that you book when you arrive.

The hotel was perfect. We arrived with out some of our luggage and they gave us everything we needed for an overnight stay. The room was spacious and very clean. Our only complaint is that their shuttle from the airport does not run during the afternoon, which is when we needed it, so we had to take a cab. This was disappointing as we thought the shuttle would be available.

great location to access the airport, messe and downtown all with public transportation. We ate in once and the restaurant was excellent. Good business hotel.

good location: only 5 minutes to the international airport (cost about 8 euro to take a taxi there); public transportation is convenient. Room is large and clean two supermarkets are next door no specific could be complained. will go there again

Great value for such a nice hotel. And very quiet.

I had to check in before noon, due to my early arrival, but the Lindner had my room ready. It was on th 4th floor overlooking a lovely garden with bird song. No street noise, but any hallway noise could be heard through the entry door. I didn't hear any noise from the rooms on either side and the bed was very comfortable. It was quiet at night, but early morning departing guests would have woken me if I hadn't already been awake to depart.. There are long bathrobes on request, very cozy, a beautiful sauna and sunroom, apples at the front desk and sauna and also free use of umbrellas and bikes. Both the nearby bakery with sandwiches and pastries and Anna's pizzeria have delicious food, with reasonable prices of less than 10 euros for lunch and only blocks away. After walking out the front lobby, turn left, cross the street and walk 2 blocks to the bakery with the yellow awning, then 3 or 4 blocks past the video games sign to the Italian pizzeria. Although bright and nicely decorated, the hotel restaurant was too expensive and it was closed during the middle of the day. Two small grocers share the ground floor of the hotel and offer very reasonable croissants, drinks sandwiches and plent of necessities, but closed on Sunday. My room was spacious, twin bed, a safe, mini bar, flat screen tv, phone, plenty of reading lights and table and chairs and desk, the only drawbacks are no tea or coffee-maker and having to keep your room keycard in the slot by the entry for the bathroom light to work--don't know why they do this. The heater control was located very low on the right side of the radiator under the window, not operated from the wall thermostat. The window opens for ventilation. The front desk told me the thermostat was only for AC. The wake up call was on time and free airport shuttle was quick and comfortable. I called the front desk for a bellhop to handle my bags, but hadn't seen one when I arrived. The lobby has complimentary use of a laptop for business, so was able to check my flight and print out boarding passes at no cost. A free shoe shine machine is near the elevator. Everything is clean, with great attention to conserving energy-- like "motion lights" in the hallways. Along the left side of the hotel is a small canal with a walking and bike path that is very attractive with benches. The residential area around the hotel is nicely kept and seems upscale. Very happy with my hotel stay, the front desk couldn't have been more helpful and accomodating. This was my first stay at this hotel chain. I am a solo female senior citizen traveler with extensive travel experience, mostly leisure trips.
