Close to the train station and 20 mins walk or 3 tram stops to the Alt Stadt. There are shops in the train station and good Japanese restaurants nearby, at the other side of the train station. The rooms are a great size and very comfortable, and the hotel is quiet even with large groups staying. The shower was great and bed comfortable. We didn't eat in the hotel but the bar is good for a before dinner drink or nightcap. Good sauna and relaxation room in the basement. The staff were very friendly and willing to assist with anything. Overall, a very good stay.
Not sure this should be a 4-Star hotel but it was clean and is remarkably quiet when you consider your next to the train station. However, the action of the city centre and the Altstadt is 15-20 minutes walk away. Price was reasonable and can't complain about the hotel itself,
few months ago in June, my wife and I was there for a short stay, I have to admit the location is top, just 3 min walking distance from the main train station. The staff were okay also, depends, I had conversation with three of them, two of them were pretty nice, one was bit arrogant. But the room was not that ideal, the facilities were very old, no sockets close to the nightstands basically there was only one socket available for guests' use, bit poor I have to say. The bedding was not that nice also, very small blankets barely can give one a tight cover. So I'll say it was just okay, price comes mostly from location.
I stayed here because the hotels in the business district where I was visiting for work were full. I would definitely stay here again next time I am in Dusseldorf. It is functional, inexpensive and well located for exploring downtown in the evening. Unlike the business district hotels which are located some way away from any non-executive street life. It is perfectly located for the Hauptbahnhof (from where the business district is just 10 stops with no interchange) and what might elsewhere be called "Little Tokyo". Definitely worth knowing about.
Located behind the central train station, 2-3 minutes of walking. Though walking there late at night may not be so comfortable. A clean and quite hotel with reasonable rate. Hotel people are nice and helpful.
Room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff helpful and quite good English. Breakfast options were good and tasty. Very close to Main Train station- very handy. Price during fair increased 4x! Not right!
Nice hotel in quite comfy location not far from few shops, which is always helpful. Rooms are comfy and airy.. although ours was quite dark... so we found it bit depressing after time.. ;) Beds really comfortable and rooms clean. Extremely friendly and helpful reception and few extras at the entrance which was a nice touch. Breakfast not overwhelmingly impressive... but just enough.. would love friend eggs.. but i can do without. Good coffee, nice pancakes and some selection of meet and cereals. I would def stay again.
I normally choose this hotel when visiting Düsseldorf cause it's close to places I love (Kushi tey of Tokyo). Not anymore: second time I call to inform about laundry, been told it's ok, then coming back and nobody taking care. Enough. Besides, neighborhood is getting worst day by day. Ugly and dirty.
Stayed at this hotel a couple of times now when on a business trip. I love the rooms here. Very big and the beds are nice and big too. There's a choice of English tv channels to choose from aswell. The location is pretty good, just a short walk away from the bars and restaurants. One of the key aspects for me is the gym. I like to do a little workout in the evenings, so this hotel gives me the ability to do that. The gym isn't exactly huge but it has enough equipment to keep me busy. The staff are lovely, the food is nice and the location is pretty good. All in all, a nice hotel.
I use this hotel when in Dusseldorf on business and it is okay but annoying that the wifi doesn't work. Single beds in the room which I am not keen on. It is very reasonably priced and in that sense, it is good value for money. I never understand however why hotels (even cheap ones) skimp on the quality of linen and pillows. The rooms are clean and functional and it is in a convenient location.
