The location is great and right next to the main train station. However, it is located on a street that feels pretty isolated. The staff was friendly but they did put us in a room that did not have an elevator so we had to carry heavy suitcases down stairs. No one offered to help with our suitcases. There is also no coffee maker in the room. The breakfast was also very high at 19 EUROs. Otherwise, the hotel is clean, quiet but too expensive for what you get.
"free internet" was not free, 17 euros/day. Poor location, unhelpfull staff, city itself was dirty and not very interesting
I came to the Hotel at 8:30 am after having landed in FRA at 5:20 am and taking the ICE to Düsseldorf (sweet). The Hotel is 3 minutes walking distance from the train platform (unbeatable). Even though I came in so early (standard check in is 3:00 pm or 6.5 hours later, I got a room immediately and was able to sleep before my first meeting. I could see the trains (ICE, IC, etc.) from my window, which I liked, if you don't the windows still keep the noise out. Gym is ok, but who needs one if you can walk to the city (through the station) instead of taking a cab. Great location if you want to be right next to the railway system. Clean, large rooms. Internet is extra as most often in Europe and a rip off (Swisscom, about 19 Euro per day...)
