Leonardo Hotel Düsseldorf City Center

I use this hotel when in Dusseldorf on business and it is okay but annoying that the wifi doesn't work. Single beds in the room which I am not keen on. It is very reasonably priced and in that sense, it is good value for money. I never understand however why hotels (even cheap ones) skimp on the quality of linen and pillows. The rooms are clean and functional and it is in a convenient location.

Decided to have a one night stay in Dusseldorf. We only chose this hotel because of the location. It was a lovely, clean hotel situated near the shopping centre. Lovely restaurants to choose from for our evening meal only a few minutes from the hotel. Staff were lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely too. We felt safe walking around this lovely city and would definitely go for longer the next time. We travelled by train and the hotel was approx a 10 minute taxi run from the railway station.

Always stay here when travelling to Dusseldorf. Rooms are spacious with tea, coffee facility, gratis water too. Bathroom is always well stocked and a good size. Restaurant is spacious and bar has everything you would want. Have used the gym, but only 4 machines and one weight station but adequate. Modern, clean cut hotel. Best place in Dusseldorf.

In Germany, hotels within a block or so of the Hauptbahnhof are sometimes a little gritty. Such is not the case here. The Leonardo is situated on a quiet street. The facility is clean and spacious and even has a gym with a small selection of well-maintained equipment. I did not eat at the restaurant but did visit the bar where beer, wine, and drink prices seemed very reasonable. Arriving midmorning from the US, I was hoping to occupy my room prior to the official 3 pm check-in time. Owing to the kindness of the on-duty manager, Frau Williams, I was able to do just that. Much appreciated.

This hotel is a 3 minute walk from Dusseldorf HBF. We liked that the hotel faces the less busy side of the train station. The receptionist was very welcoming. Our room was very clean and well-maintained. We left our luggage at this hotel to do a day trip in the Rhine Valley, and visited Marksburg Castle in Braubach.

The hotel is conveniently located near the central station and well connected to underground train and bus services.Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly. The rooms too were comfy and nice and I enjoyed my stay. There is a small fridge and I was happy to see the coffee maker too, but my small wish is that they provide proper cups or mugs... a small thing to add given the otherwise overall pleasant experience. One can pick up food from both the station and several eateries at the other end of the station. Will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for 3 nights recently and was absolutely delighted with everything. The staff were friendly, welcoming, efficient and all spoke excellent English. I was very pleasantly surprised with their breakfast buffet, not only was the usual continental breakfast on offer, they also had scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages plus lots of fruit. The room was also very comfortable and clean, what more can we say except if you're visiting this lovely city, stay here!

We stayed there for one night only while we were on business trip in Düsseldorf. The hotel is very used. The public areas and rooms as well. Need to be renewed. Otherwise the team was so nice and helpful. There is not bad feeling at all but please renovate the hotel, because the time arrived...

Decent hotel situated a couple minutes walk from the train station. Reception staff friendly and efficient along with the bar and restaurant staff. Had an excellent size room with bath and shower , just a shame the mini bar fridge had been removed which is usually a plus in most European hotels compared to UK ones who seem unable to grasp the concept of a mini bar. Also can't figure out why like most German and a lot of European hotels the bed is a double but the quilt is only single ??? Bit weird !! Equipped with a small gym which we used most days but if your going to go to the trouble of having one you really need at least a multi gym and a bench with weights and not just cardio machine's...but better than no gym at all !!! Always fresh lemon water in reception along with little cakes and savouries which is a nice touch and when a taxi is required there's a direct switch from the reception and a car comes almost immediately. Couple decent places to eat within the train station as well especially the fish restaurant and a small supermarket albeit a little pricey as supermarkets go !!!. Would definitely stay again if back for work.

Our room was spacious, well appointed and clean. The staff at this hotel could not have been more helpful and gave us very useful advice about the city and train travel. The location could not have been better as a short walk was all that was needed from the railway station. Likewise the old and new parts of the city center were reachable on foot. All in all this was a memorable and easy stay.
