You should guide your chambermaids not to toch on the stuff of the guest. my sleepers and my tootbrush taken from my room without permition after the first night. I wasn't complained directly since anyway I planed to drop them before leaving and check out
Very nice hotel (if you like modern industrial design) with good restaurant and bar. Ideal location for Dusseldorf experience and the Messe (Fairground). Unfortunately, due to maintenance work, we had to park our Car in the Parking-garage of a competing Hotel (Novotel), which was a bit frustrating arriving late in the evening and weary of the roadtrip. Bit all was fine afterwards drinking a nice Lager in the Bar.
I like this hotel for short business trips as it is very close to where I need to be during the day and it is walking distance to the shopping malls, parks and restaurant & cafés at the River. You can not go wrong with it, good 4 stars ,pleasant rooms especially if you get the upgrade to junior suite for little extra and the rooms are clean and the breakfast buffet is very good. I wrote the address just to make sure I reviewed the correct one as the two choices given are not noted on this hotel website or bill.
Ive stayed in this hotela few times. It has a great bar and trestaurant and the rooms are stylish and functional. The shower works well and there is a good selection of toilletries. For me the only area that could be better is the breakfast. The restaurant is a pleasant space and the quality of whats on offer is fine, but there isnt much choice of hot food. That said, what is there is good. The hotel is a taxi ride from the city centre but is convenient for the airport (10 minutes) and the business district.
I have only one problem I didn't get my poits in my card I have stay in hotel many weeks and I need to request for it in the site why it is not automatically? pls could you check it thank you Evangelos Bountalis
Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, had bad experiences as below: The toilet does not have a good fan, so it will be a problem when using it. Wifi was very poor even at the lobby and also it wasnot reasonable to use only 1 application for each room. We had reserved 1 double room with continental breakfast for 3 nights and it was ok until the day of check out that the reception announced that your reservation has been without breakfast ( although we had a voucher with breakfast) . As I wanted to talk to the manager of the hotel, the reception said that we donot have a manager in this hotel and we are managers ourselves. They had a very bad treat to guests. So never back again and donot recommend this hotel to anyone, as it is wasting your money.
Urgent renovation works have to be done, if they still want it to be listed as a 4 star hotel. Visible signs of wear in the rooms, plus it is still unacceptable to ask for a charge if a second GSM phone per room has to be connected to the Wi-Fi...
stayed here twice over the last few months. the hotel is very modern in look, concrete and glass. the rooms are a good size. although I do like privacy when in the bathroom and both rooms I had have glass walls between the shower/bath and the bedroom! maybe this appeals to some and thankfully I was alone. Wi-Fi is ok, they give you a code and you think its a personal one until you can no longer log-in, all guests get the same code. restaurant food is very expensive, it is very nice though (I wasn't paying). all staff where friendly and helpful It is about 20-25€ for a taxi from the airport.
Overall a hotelstay that I was very satisfied with. I liked the very well furnished rooms. Clean and fresh. Very comfortable bed and great breakfast. Even though the hotel is situated quite a bit from the city centre it's a nice walk and also easy to reach by tram.
I had a really bad experience. There are two Melia's in Düsseldorf. My cab driver took me to the wrong one and I had no Euros left after paying him. I tried to change twenty dollars at this melia but they refused even though I produced my card key from the other Düsseldorf melia. Even worse, the front desk manager named huben refused to come out to speak with me despite the desk clerk asking him four separate times to do so. Finally his boss (the deputy manager) came down and apologized and of course changed the $20. A bad experience and a really bad way for hiben to treat a guest.
