We have pay for 3 rooms 5 days for a Anuga food show. We pay in advance. But the have one of my room and I need to pay the duble to find a room in other hotel. They say because I don’t give in time the name and the thing the room was free. They never give me back the money. My colleagues that stay in the hotel and in 5 days they clean the room only 2 times.
We had stayed at this hotel previously about 3 years ago and were extremely pleased to find the exceptional service and friendly staff were still around. The hotel was staffed with people who seemed to only want to help us. We wanted information on where we could purchase snacks when we arrived at 2030 and they pointed out two places within 50 meters. We had requested a room on a lower floor and were happy to be placed on the second floor. The breakfast was included in our very reasonable price and consisted of hot eggs, sausage, assorted cheeses and breads, coffee, two types of juice, assorted pastries and cold meats. I would call it a buffet rather than breakfast. In addition, the lady in charge of the kitchen has a very positive attitude at 0700. The one thing that impressed me the most however was the spotless condition of the room and bathroom, with every fixture shining and obviously very clean. We were very happy and will stay there again when we are in Duesseldorf.
this hotel who is near the train station is also near of the bars and all the alcoolics persons make noise all the night so it s impossible to sleep and the reception is incompetent you have to pay and to pay y will not return
I stayed there in November during a fair event, so the price was anyway absurd and I am not going to comment on this. The room was described as a non smoking room of 20m2. It was actually a room of 10m2 stinking cigarette, very cold (windows opened when I arrived, malfunctionning heater) with mold at many different places...
A group of us used the hotel just as a base for a couple of nights whilst attending a couple of football games. It was perfect for our needs - good position near the train station, spotlessly clean twin-rooms with excellent en suite bathrooms, and great value. Minor gripes were Wifi in rooms (4th floor) was erratic, and could have done with another pillow - but no great problem. I wouldn't hesitate to use the hotel again.
The location is great if you want to be near the main train station and not too far from the center. Other than that, nothing much. The 6th and highest floor has no elevator. My mom has a bad knee and had to ask like 5 times before the lady agreed to check for other free rooms. Eventually we got a room on the 1st floor. The site I ordered the room from said that there's a mini bar in the room, and there wasn't. The free internet was terrible and didn't always connect to my laptop. Plus, when we asked to print some documents for us, they charged .50 cents for a page, something I've never come across in other hotels, tho the front desk lady insisted that all hotels charge for printing. She was nice with our other requests, I'll give her that. The room was clean, but we heard noises from the hallway and also from the outside with windows closed. If you have zero expectations from a hotel and are just looking for a clean place to rest your head at night, you can definitely go there.
Good hotel at a perfect location and decent price level. Furniture and equipment good for the category. Bath is also OK. The light interior building construction allows for internal noices and significant vibrations.
As others have said, the pillows are no more than covers they are that thin. Our room was on the front and was very loud. Workmen started drilling before 8am on our 2nd day and whilst not the hotels fault, you could hear everything. Inside the room was fine, clean and had a good shower. The hallway smelled musty. Had a good cheap pub just across the road. Excellent for the train station. I would stay again at a push now that i know what to expect, but one or two days max as there are better places.
well situatated from the main train train station.most of the staff friendly, beds very uncomfortable, pillows very thin and old ( need about 4) .hotel a bit run down although clean, not a nice part of the city, rather stay outside the city as the trains are very good.did not have breakfast.
Exclusively near the Hbf. Rather tasty breakfast is available from the very early morning. Trams are NOT loud at all, like some customers say. Service is pretty polite. There were some regular discounts for the prices of the stay for the autumn period - so it was really reasonable. If you are a bit late (after the midnight) - need to use a special door with a personal elctronic key to get in and out. Highly advisable to stay in.
