My room was in the attic of the hotel, the room was large, good views over the skyline and rather hot. My colleagues had rooms on lower floors which they said were very cramped. Breakfast was OK, a German buffet as you would expect. WiFi was troublesome, you need to get a pass printed by reception which expires every day, then you need another one.
Absolute bog standard hotel in heavily populated Asian area of the City. Good transport into town with metro station two minute walk and just two stops to Konigs Alee. Loads of restaurants nearby. Room was small and really dated. Dirty curtains, mould on walls. Not kept well. Good for a short visit to rest your head but no more. Staff quick and helpful. Wifi did not work at all during my two night stay.
Hotel employees were friendly and nice. We stayed with our two children in two seperate rooms. One of the rooms was quit small, but fine and clean. Affordable parking facilities nearby. Close to U- and S-bahn. Area around the hotel was very nice, lots of asian restaurants!
Excellent location as it is only around 10 minute stroll from the main train station. The rooms are clean and large, good service and decent breakfast. What more can you ask for. Also an excellent brewery opposite with a great atmosphere and excellent Alt beer. Would stay again.
Big rooms, nice and clean . Very tasty breakfast, receptionists not very friendly. There is NO SWIMMING POOL. There is a sauna and free fitness, basic equipment. The free parking is very small, watch out if you have a low car, we scratched our car. 10 minutes walking from city center. The Russian lady in the bar is super sweet.
Not bad chain hotel. Location was exellent. It was neighbourhood when were lot of different Asian restaurants. City center wasn´t also far. Room was clear spacious and breakfast aerage bur ok. Hotel own only few parking places but near was cheaper parking house. Room clean, wifi fasr but service was cold.
Rooms were hot. Breakfast was great. Generally I found the people quite rude, uprupt, not very good English in Germany. Being first time we got stuffed about on the trains and every where else we went. The shops quality of clothing was excellent way overpriced. Yet again worst was smoking everywhere.
We stayed here for a belated valentine's day out. The room wasn't big but had everything in there. Very clean. We had a room with a shower. The breakfast was in our case included and left nothing to be desired. Very friendly staff. Elevators. We had a room on the back which was very quiet. Walking distance (10min) from the centre. 5 Minutes from the trainstation. Price was reasonable for what you can expect in this area.
This hotel is a ten minute walk from the main train station. Be careful not to leave the station by the back door like we did by mistake as you end up in dark places quite quickly. Anyway, once we'd orientated ourselves, we found the hotel swiftly. The staff were lovely and everyone on reception was always cheerful. The room was big (we were in 207) and ours looked out onto the main street. It's about a fifteen minute walk to the old town and we did this twice a day over our three day stay. There was a wide choice at breakfast with a highlight being the dozen or so speciality teas. They ran out of croissants towards the end of one breakfast session but that's not a criticism - they were lovely. The staff at breakfast always said hello. So, a positive review.
We are leaving this hotel with mixed feelings... I think it is the perfect example for an average rating (rather 2.5 than 3 stars) due to the following reasons: -Staff at reception was kind and check-in went smooth -Location is conveniently located between central station and city centre. Parking is quite expensive and if you're not staying in the hotel's garage you have to feed the on-street meter every 2 hours. -Spa area recently renovated but the sauna seems to be left out. Sauna too small. -Our room was very small and you could hear our neighbours talk. Even worse; door movements, switches and plugs from the neighbours were even louder (maybe we were unlucky with the room 222). Positive about the room was that it was placed in the back of the building towards a calm courtyard -Though the room looked quite old fashioned it was clean -The safe is spacious (fits DSR + Laptop) -Since we got a nightly rate of 69€ for bed+breakfast (couple) the value for money is fine -Breakfast is average. Standard breakfast with same products you find in other chaines... no specials or local food.
