The hotel needs a really good airing out!!!! It smells so bad. The coffee was terrible tasting. Breakfast was disappointing.
Sparkling clean, everything looks new or nearly new. Very friendly staff. Free upgrade since we arrived late in the evening and there was an unoccupied large room with THREE queen beds. Lots of room to move. Respectable but not extensive breakfast offerings, though I think it's understandable since it was Christmas Eve and only a few occupants. My three young adult sons were well fed. I could hear the person in the room above us walking around heavily, so it's possible that it would have been noisy if there had been partying going on up there. I will definitely return to this hotel. We had previously always stayed at a different one when visiting Dyersville. It has a pool, but this one cost $50 less.
The location, price, and room/hotel amenities more than met our needs. It is conveniently located across the street from the high school track, so no excuse for not getting a daily walk in. It is also steps away from a full service restaurant (Country Junction), walking distance to McDonald's, Pizza Hut, grocery store, Dairy Queen, etc. Room was clean with nice decorating, towel supply adequate, service and continental breakfast was very good. Highly recommend it.
