I had the WORSE experience ever at a hotel. I travel all the time for work and for personal vacations and this is was a first. Upon arrival at 4:30 p.m. we are told our room wasn't ready yet (check in time is 4:00 p.m.) and they would call us when it was ready. We went next door to have a pizza and wait. At 5:45 p.m. when they had not called so we went back to the hotel. The front desk said, yes your room is ready but it doesn't have any towels and we'll send someone up to deliver them as soon as possible. So we carried our luggage and a cooler up to the second floor because they don't have an elevator and didn't offer to help. We were not impressed upon entering our room either. It is outdated from the furnishings to tiny TV. After about 10 minutes I went back down to the front desk to inquire about the towels. There was no one manning the desk so I went back up the stairs to see my boyfriend talking to a girl with a basket of towels in the hallway. She refused to give him any towels until the first desk approved it. A minute later the girl with the basket handed me 1 towel and 1 wash cloth and walked away! I closed the door and then reopened it to find the basket sitting on the floor and the girl no where so I took 2 towels from the basket and went back in my room. The manager then knocks and barges in our room demanding the towels back! She then tells us to leave before she calls the police! We were forced to leave because of TOWELS!

Upside was the staff: they were hospitable and gracious. Downside: the pool was shut down :(

We went to spend a day and evening using the indoor pool. The indoor pool was closed and is not scheduled to open until March. Evemomg cleaning crew did not show up. What are they thinking? Sounds like a hotel in trouble. We should get our money back for one of the two nights on two rooms.

warning!!! nightmare hotel & staff!!!

comfy play to stay in a small town

lousy family getaway.
