Clean, beautiful...great view... I loved the live entertainment at the lobby....

Gorgeous view from the room and very nice position (nice 15 min walk to old Dubrovnik) bathroom's floor has plenty of spots, should have been mopped ( or a deeper cleaning if it needs that ) before offering it to new guests. The staircase has huge windows facing the sea but they weren't clean in ages so they are very dirty, right in the hallway with the elevator leading to the rooms the beige carpets has many very dark spots that are unacceptable for such an expensive hotel The balcony has a space for plants it's full of weeds and not taken care of at all( interestingly other floors have very nice flowers and no weeds) nice modern design in the rooms, huge lobby. the hotel is overall good but when you pay 250$ a night in October for a room, expectations are HIGHER

Very nice hotel within walking distance of Dubrovnik's old town walled city. Beautiful views.

Hotel meets expectations with large room with patio deck overlooking the sea (superior room) great pricing. With one minus , without ac the room has light smell of sewage chemical coming from the bathtub, turn on AC and it goes away. We love the hotel

The hotel was beautiful and situation right on the water. Close distance to the hotel about a 15 minute walk.

we loved our stay at this 5 star hotel. Our room was beautiful and had a stunning view of the ocean. It was very quiet for good sleeping. the pool was lovely and we enjoyed swimming in the ocean. It was only a ten minute walk into Dubrovnik, a stunning city full of history. the breakfast buffet was fantastic. a great stay.

Great views. About a 20 minute walk to the Dubrovnik old town/fort. Eur 35 to the airport by taxi. Pool was overcrowded. Poor staff attitude. Food was horrendous and expensive.

We were blown away at this Hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful, the room was beautiful, and the view from most of the hotel overlooks the Adriatic Sea. When we go back to Dubrovnik, we will definitely stay at this hotel.

Everything about this hotel was beautiful and I would stay there again. But the guest relations staff and concierge literally don't know anything about the area. When they even showed up on time for work, they seemingly made up the hours for things, neglected to mention key details, etc. If I go back, it'd be with a good guidebook.

The location and the view of the sea was astounding. The lobby was spacious and airy with lots of sun shine streaming in from the floor-to-ceiling windows with a sweeping view of the dark blue sea (from the 9th floor lobby). The walk to the old town (mostly downhill) was about 15 minutes. Although there are buses to the old town which you can purchase on the bus, everyone seemed to be walking to get there. The fitness center seemed to have modern equipment located on the beach pool floor. Near the old town, across the street from the Hilton Imperial Hotel is a spacious restaurant Mimoza (no view, no AC but high ceilings with fans. Lots of green with vines on the ceiling) . Much cheaper than in the old town. The rooms did not have wi-fi. Only the lobby. The front desk staff were un-resourceful and cold. The pool was crowded and the the restaurant by the pool side was noisy, hot, bland and expensive. They gave me a parking lot view room and charged me EUR60 additionally for my wife and daughter. The taxi ride from hotel to the airport was Eur35 (they accept Euros) and the ride from the nearby ferry sea port to the hotel was Eur10. The room was clean and modern but small. My 15 yr old daughter slept on the sofa bed (room service was lousy and non-flexible). The wall between the shower and the main bedroom was made of glass. Yes, my wife and 15 yr old daughter can see me naked taking a shower, and vice versa. The toilet in the bathroom had a skimpy thin door and noise made in the toilet can be heard in the main bedroom. The TV was modern flat screen but CNN and BBC were the only English speaking channels. Good deal for a price of $220 for a five star hotel.

Had one night in Dubronvik before a flight, wish we had a week. Stayed on a Tuesday night in early July. By far the nicest place we stayed, maybe ever. Super luxury hotel almost James Bond style. Free parking, free WiFi. Drinks and food are SUPER pricey (except in casino). Oceanfront area is amazing, views are spectacular. Couldn't believe we only paid $150 (750 Kuna). Will be staying again. Might have a honeymoon there...

My partner and I spent two nights at the Rixos. The rooms are short of five star standard and the front desk staff are really very rude in our experience, but the location is really great and we loved the deck area. One has the option of swimming in the sea or using the outdoor heated pool. Our stay would have been much more enjoyable were we not woken up on our second morning with the offer of a room upgrade which turned out to be very much a room downgrade, losing our view of the sea and moved to the opposite side of the hotel. It was a cruel trick that should not have been played.

we thought the property and rooms were outstanding, in fact incredible. the hotel is designed in a manner that all the rooms have a great view. When we heard they were putting us on the second floor, we were disappointed, only to find the room and view was perfect.

The rooms have a georgous ocean view and are completely private with a spacious deck. Dinner is a buffet style with a good choice. Old town was convenient and quick, you could enjoy the lovely 15 minute oceanside walk. The hotel staff were among the most polite and accomodatineg I have ever experienced.
