Good, warm, comfortable, spacious room. Nice place to stay on a cold night! Close to centre of town and on main road but we didn't hear any road noise. Efficient service. Rooms clean but need some minor maintenance and getting a bit old. Reasonably priced. Would stay there again.

The room was excellent value for the price and the service was exceptional. If you're a sound sleeper then you'll have no dramas here, however, if you're not, then the road noise and air-con will leave you wishing you were somewhere else. We stayed on a Thursday night and the hoons obviously use Cobra street for their drags, burn-outs etc and I was lying there wondering where the cops were. All settled by midnight though, and no road noise again until about 5 am but the air-con was a bit louder then I would expect but then I am super sensitive to any noise. Bed comfort and warmth was excellent, girl on the desk was super friendly and helpful. If it wasn't for the road noise, I would have rated this place above average and one can't really blame the motel for the bad behaviour of motorists / hoons.

Sundowner Aberdeen Motor Inn in Dubbo offers great value for money accomodation and an excellent swimming pool . But it offers so much more than just that . It offers friendly service from the lady at reception to the cleaners who actually approached us and asked us if we needed anything without us having to go to them . Great place and great people .

We hadn't pre booked, arrived mid afternoon and took a ground floor room with queen sized bed, air con, for $105 pn as at November 2016. Dated decor but clean, and the pool is small but clean and much needed after a day at the zoo.The room was positioned away from the main road and we didn't hear any noise. We easily walked to the RSL, main street shops and restaurants, and would stay again.

Our sporting group officials stayed here on a Saturday night mid January. We had 2 apartments and 6 Twin rooms (each with a double and a single) and all reported the standard to be very good. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to make the stay pleasant. At the last minute we had to change the rooming as, due to 2 people having to pull out at the last minute, we did not need the third apartment we had originally booked. This was no problem to the owner which was pleasing to see. The location of the Aberdeen is excellent, with Macca's over the road and only a short walk to the RSL club, hotels and a variety of restaurants. If you are not sure of what room you need then contact them (phone or email). The staff are most helpful and, in our case, got back to us straight away.

Upon arrival and a hassle free check in i ventured to my room to find i had a nice big deep spa in my room. The bed was comfy the room was clean neat and tidy. A dvd player was given upon request from office. Each day i have been here for the cleaning ladies to come and service the room. They have done a great job. Very friendly and helpful with directions around town. The lady that has done most of our cleans (vicky) always had a big smile and often went above and beyond to help. It has made my extended stay in dubbo all that much easier. Reception staff are also very friendly and helpful. The grounds are spotless and the pool is nice on a warm day. I actually manage a hotel with accommodation and could only wish it ran so smooth. Plenty of food options just a short walk across the road. (Highly recommend ginas). Thankyou everyone

This motel was quite okay. Its nothing special, but has all that people need for an overnight stay. You get what you pay for. Staff were very friendly, especially the young lady at reception. If you are after a clean, neat, not too expensive place, I would recommend it

I stayed here for a weekend for the junior zone bowls tournament. The rooms were really good. A double bed and single plus a sofa bed meant plenty of room. Parking is easy, and as we were on the ground floor, right outside our room. Staff were friendly and helpful. It is well positioned. Directly across the road from numerous takeaways and restaurants and walking distance to the RSL and supermarkets. Easy to get to all the attractions from here too. Best of all, it was warm and cosy. Would definitely stay here again.

If you want a good night's accommodation at a very affordable price ... this motel is the place for you!! It isn't a high-end motel, but then neither is the price. The room was very spacious and everything was fine, except for the bathroom fan which was quite noisy. At least one other nearby room appeared to have a similar problem. I would highly recommend this motel, and will definitely stay again when in need of accommodation in Dubbo.

My husband had to travel to Dubbo for his work so we decided to make a weekend of it and bring the whole family to see the zoo. There are 6 of us and we usually have problems finding accommodation that can fit a family of our size so booking ahead is essential. After talking to the receptionist about what would best suit us we ended up booking a unit on the first floor of the motel. It was very spacious, even for our family. Hubby and I had our own bedroom complete with its own TV and air con and the kids had the huge front room which also had a TV and air con. After sending hubby off to work in the morning the kids and I stayed in our PJs and enjoyed to a lovely room service breakfast at our dining table before setting off for a fun day at the zoo. I would definitely recommend the Aberdeen to other families. It is in a great location, the staff are helpful and friendly and the price is very reasonable.
