We were on family vacation from 26 December 2017 to 4 January 2017 at this hotel, we paid in advance also to get dinner at the hotel because we have small children, the first night when we reached there we were presented with a full menu and ate nicely, the next morning when they come to know that it was prepaid they start presenting to us only two option of meals (the menu disappeared!) and had to wait for long time before they serve us, the last two nights i took my family out even though i paid. on the other hand they were coming late to clean the rooms, providing only one bottle of water for family room, we enjoyed the 4 nights we stayed in Abu Dhabi Mafraq hotel better.
Bathroom had really horrible smell, probably caused by the bad drainage system. Room was not that user-friendly in term of power plug and layout, very confusing heat-pump system. Location alright. Staffs quite friendly. Also, don't expect any good view from the window.
Breakfast very bad Bread very old and i cant eat . in tree day i just 1 time ate breakfast. Room dirty. Room very small and you only can see a building next to this hotel. Stuff not bad Deire city center very close
Room ok (for price if booked in advance), but overall experience not great. Staff were rude talking to other staff during check-in process and didn't understand the concept of a queue ignoring us when we were at the front of the line. Didn't have change when we paid the tourism fee and gave us credit instead. Pool chair cushions extremely dirty such that they couldn't be used. Took dirty towels from bathroom but did not replace with new ones. Pillows were like overfilled lumpy bags of concrete. Toilet paper roll only had a few sheets left but no replacement available in room. Good location near metro, restaurants and shopping mall. Would stay somewhere else next time though ....
25 minute wait to check into a room after arriving in reception at 8.30 pm. Room really not very clean. Cup marks on surfaces carpet dirty with a wet patch of white cream that I stepped on barefoot. Shower cubicle needed to be thoroughly cleaned. Daytime pool area was really dirty. Cigarette butts, chicken bones, tinfoil!beer bottle caps. Only 4 sun beds. Tables and chairs all pushed to one side of pool. No life guard. At 1pm staff finally started to try to sort pool area. Breakfast buffet had poor quality products!although plentiful. Staff very pleasant. Sadly, this is the only hotel in Dubai I’ve stayed where I will not be returning.
The room was dirty the towels as well. TV was not working chanels were limited no mini bar fridge . Room smills bad. Spots on the carbets over all the hotel is dirty i will not stay in it even if it was for free
I decided to move closer to the airport and selected particular hotel. arrival, check-in... with minor problems, while appears that payment didn't went through... Due payment issues, I was upgraded, but... first room wall decor was in stains, rooms was, if may I say not cleaned... I was moved to another room... more or less better, but still carpets not vacuumed and not only that. Minibar cooler is empty, but also not cleaned, stains on furniture... minisafe was not working, tv channels are not there and quality of existing was so so... There is some construction work is going on and it is about time! DON'T believe pictures on hotel web site... they are made-up...
we have been to dubai and stayed at raintree bur dubai, everything was very smooth, the relation with reception staff, banjara restaurant was excellent. they are very cordial, cooperative and flexible to the interests of the guests. We felt as if we are at our home. very near to meena bazar, where dubai is called city of gold.
During our visit to Dubai in mid September 2017 our group of 25 people stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. Rooms were very clean and washrooms hygienically cleaned everyday. Food too was good and appreciated by majority. Locationally also the hotel is good not far away from the famous gold market. Some nice stores for routine shopping are at walking distance.
We chose this hotel for its convenience and because we had stayed there twice before. This time, while we were well looked after by the pleasant staff, we thought the room needed a refresh. The carpets need to be refreshed and the bathroom is now dated. The great plus is proximity to the airport, Deira Mall and the metro. We would stay again, but hope that in the meantime some refitting is achieved.
