Oriental Palace Hotel Apartments

The word palace at this hotel doesn't make any sense it is the opposite of a palace with rubbish rooms terrible water systems and terrible interior and walls that are cracked. And also the worst staff members I have ever met, when we booked our room we thought the room would look like the one we booked but it looked nothing like it. I had to get in a fight with the receptionist until he said that he can get the room that we actually booked. And the worst thing about this hotel apartment that it doesn't have any non smoking rooms they are all smoking rooms so you have a child that has asthma it wouldn't be good for him or her. Anyway to sum up this is the worst hotel apartment that I have ever stayed in and that I don't recommend anyone coming.

This hotel apartment is a bit old and unkempt, not clean also, the lobby was always smelling of smoke plus their breakfast was nothing to write home about..they are not welcoming considering a long flight and no waiting room as you wait for the rooms to be ready.....Although their reception guy for night was good.

Spent the night at the hotel, booked two apartments. The rooms were spacious with a very sensible décor. Helpful staff, the internet password was confusing though 😁. Will be returning again for another party.

We were to stay in the hotel on new year's eve and the booking was confirmed. However, the hotel told us that they are full and shifted us in backyard hotel which was not worth any penny. It was in a location where Street vendors were selling iphones like vegetables. We were not at all comfortable and we communicated the same to staff who did not seem to care. Worst experience ever! Stay at any place in Dubai but don't go here.

Stay was vry good, location also good. Friendly staff and ready to help anytime. Near to alghurair, reef and ansar gallery and center of the deira. Union metro and salahudin station near to hotel airport just 15 minutes drive.

Very spacious Good for family Have kitchen Nice staffs Location in the city with easy access to pupic transport Near Mall Gold souq Market 24 hours Cheap Good buffet International lunch Wifi good speed Fridge available Iron facility and dry laundry

It was a very comfortable stay. Close to all the necessary amenities: dining, shopping, bus station, metro. Friendly staff. Not so far from the airport. The children enjoyed the quiet nature of the hotel inside.

firstly, i had confusion whether to opt this hotel due to old reviews, but honestly nothing reflected my stay here. this hotel have everything within your budget. it has kitchen, it is in good location, public transports are walkable distance. Overall, I love this hotel and definitely I will recommend others who want enjoy their trip in Dubai.

I'm not sure where to start.... We arrived late at night and was looking forward to a good nights sleep after a long day of travelling. We were checked in quickly and curteously but were sadly disappointed when we saw our room. The couch was dirty and stained, when I picked up a glass to have some water it was dirty. The sheets were clean, but stained. The rubbish bin had not been emptied from previous occupants. There was crashing and banging from rooms and halls all night long. It sounded like the room next door was being cleaned at 6am. There was no free wifi. The television and DVD player were not working. I was very happy when morning came and I could check out. The staff were very very kind, but the room for the money charged was disappointing.

We were booked to stay at this hotel, even our service voucher said so, but when we got there, the receptionist claimed that our name was not in the list of guests. We were then transferred to their lower end sister hotel Rafee where our 'booking' was found. What was strange though is that during check out at Rafee after our stay, Rafee informed us that our booking was originally at Oriental so they could not give us clearance and our passports back without clearance from Oriental first. Certainly our booking had been at oriental, we paid rates for Oriental, but they stole from us by transferring us to the lower level Rafee. Was it because we were a black family of 4?
