My stay at the Carlton downtown was decent. The area around the hotel is fantastic. It’s walking distance to the metro and close to most places around Dubai. There are many food places around the hotel. The upgrade to a suite was excellent but the room was seriously outdated and in need of some loving care. There was a hole in the wall as you entered into the suite. There were random stickers around that past guests had stuck up but were never removed. There’s a VIP sticker on the ceiling as you enter the living room. Then a size small polo sticker on the main bedroom wall as you enter on the left. These things make me believe that basic upkeep is not done. I ate dinner one night at the Lebanese restaurant. The food was delicious, it was beautifully decorated and the staff were attentive. But it was completely empty aside from me. However, I would not stay here again unless some basic renovations were done to update the rooms.

Nice hotel close to the biggest mall of Dubai. Staff is very friendly. The best part of the hotel is the roof top pool, you have spectacular views from the roof top. Room was very clean, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Will give five star for the house keeping staff. The breakfast was excellent but paid one.

The hotel has so much going for it but the service needs to improve. They wanted to charge for ice requested which can be purchased for peanuts. The location is fantastic and the view from the top is amazing but given the competition in Dubai it needs to buck up
Best service from one staff, Anastasia, who is in charge of guest relations. She is the most wonderful, most caring, nicest and sweetest person I have ever met with the experience of a special and personal caring service from her. All other staff were pleasant, professional, and friendly.
The location was convenient to a variety of venues in downtown Dubai. Room was quite pleasant and comfortable.

It's a good value for its rate. Location is very convenient for downtown travelers. Reception team is very helpful and understanding. Breakfast is not too good nor bad. Rooms very clean but the hotel needs refurbishment anymore.
The room had some electrical issues, but the service and amenities were excellent.
I stayed four night during my visit to Dubai with my parents. They had all the amenities (at least the ones I cared about) that they promised on their website. Hotel staff were very helpful and polite. Rooms were clean and housekeeping requests were promptly addressed. The location of the hotel is great. Stone's throw from Dubai metro and a short ride away from the Dubai Mall (which I ended up visiting more than once), it is conveniently located close to a number of eateries for quick munches. I see no reason not to revisit Warwick Dubai again.
I only stayed here for 1 day, I had a stopover on my way home & booked this hotel. It is very nice inside & the staff was very helpful. I like this hotel because I didn't get charged some ridiculous amount for a deposit, however you will be asked to pay a deposit for the mini bar around $200 AED & a tourism fee. It is very close to the train station so save yourself some money & take it from the airport. I paid $40 AED when I took a cab when I only paid $17 AED using the train to Financial Station. The room on the 22nd floor was very cute, you have a living area, small desk, 2 separate restrooms, & a bedroom with ample closet space. Also had a good view of the Burj Khalifa. You will need to keep your door access card in the slot at the door for lights to stay on oh & there's even a door bell! Staff was very, very helpful! So if you don't want to pay a deposit I recommend this hotel many other hotels charge a refundable deposit so make sure you read all the notes.
The cost of the hotel was not too bad. The facility itself could use some updates...specially the carpets. The room service cannot even rate as we never received what we requested after 45minutes.
On my last trip to Dubai I stayed in 5 different hotels and this one comes in place 4. The staff is only doing their job, they are not nice but not rude either, The room was ok, but really for the area it doesnt worth the fares they are charging. Room service food was not good, the hamburgers were tasteless.They need to improve to compete with other hotels in the area.

I booked 2 rooms for my family and got updated to a family suite with 2 bedrooms for free. That was a pleasant surprise. We were on 32 floor and the view was great!!. I woke up with Burj Khalifa outside my bedroom window. The other side of the room was the ocean view which was also beautiful. The room was spacious. The master bedroom was huge and comfortable. Super king size bed that seemed like 4 people can fit in it easily. There was also additional room that you can turn into the third bedroom if need be. The hotel location was convenient, it's only a few minutes walk from the metro financial center station. There is a rooftop with bar and pool, very windy and beautiful. I also like the little coffee shop on the first floor which serves coffee and delicious bakery. The price is not horrible, but might take a while because there's only one staff most of the time. Overall, my experience was wonderful with the hotel, absolutely worth the price.
