My family arrived here today 17/01/17 but unfortunately i had booked the wrong hotel and thought i had booked the Lotus at the Marina, but the hotel was very well presented and looked lovely, clean and high standard by all accounts. The very lovely lady at the desk kindly got the Hotel manager/reservations who i didn't catch his name very kindly and very quickly change our hotel to their sister hotel, in addition to this as my son was celebrating his 21st birthday today he even arranged a cake to be sent to our room on arrival. I can not thank the staff enough to make my sons birthday special. In addition to this the manager even provided us a driver to take us there. Thank you very much the Potts and Leigh really appreciate what you did for us today.. xx Sorry not much a review on the hotel but if the staff and management are anything to go by you will not be disappointed.
The overall experience of staying at Lotus Grand was good. Despite the incident of burning of A/C fan at 2 in the morning, the service team was amazing and they could fix the issue in 30mins only. The Hotel is recommended for those who came to UAE and wanna visit both Dubai & Sharjah. The Hotel is located in a very dynamic area, all shops, restaurants, bakery are just a few step a head. Plus the access to the Metro is about 5mins walking. The Hotel is too good for families, as they have very big rooms. Rooms are looking great, but we faced a problem with the annoying of the neighbors at sleeping time, plus no towels were kept in the Bathrooms while we arrived. We had to request them through Room Service. Additionally, the towels were not changed/replaced in the second day when we request for room cleaning !
We were booked in a three bedroom apartment as we were a family of 5. The check in process was smooth. Our rooms were clean and in order and they were cleaned on a daily basis . The amenities provided were adequate for our use though we didn't cook as much as we expected, since we ate out most of the time. The in room dining service provided by the hotel was fabulous and I particularly enjoyed the chicken biryiani and fried golden prawns. Waiting time was around 20 minutes. We got a surprise Christmas cake in our room on Christmas Day provided by the hotel. We were grateful for the free airport departure transfer provided by the hotel which came in handy when our tour company delayed. Also the help the security team provided in assisting us recover my son's cellphone that was accidentally left in a random taxi whose details we didn't have. Thanks also to the taxi guy. Next time I'm in Dubai with my family I will definitely consider Lotus Grand Hotel. The staff were quite helpful
Our friends booked the hotel and we were invited to come over for dinner together with other friends who all live just around the hotel. It dint say anything in the booking that visitors are not allowed to go to the room.. we booked a 2 bedroom and our friends prepared a lovely dinner. We were begging them to let us just come upstairs to eat.. they said that the manager will come at 10pm and he would be the one deciding on the matter. So we waited for 2 hours and no manager showed up.. instead somebody talked to us over the phone saying they cant let us in.. we asked for a refund because we wer not able to use the room but they dont want to give the refund.. were super dissapointed with our experience in this hotel :(
Paid for 5 Days ... they have a disagreement with THE company About THE rate . So after a long flight no service .. even when You show proof of payment !! Nobody help You .. nobody is polite .. i would not recommand this hotel to nobody anymore
I have been living in this hotel Apartments for 1 year as it is my company's accommodation. So far all of my colleagues and I have had a very bad experience. Starting from housekeeping that never cleans properly, never brings enough towels and often forgets to take trash out. Then the cocroaches that we find once or twice per week. We even found them in our fridge a couple of times. I will mention less important thing as well that lots of doors and door knobs are not working and you can't close the door. Also water pressure is often terrible, making it very hard to shower. Water temperature is always very low, so there is no proper warm or hot water. At most of situations when you complain about something to front desk they don't do anything. Even when they tell you they will call you back, they don't in 70% situations. Also the internet is not working at all or it will work for couple hours and then stop. Wifi routers are a nightmare and their sign in wifi is popping out so often and disconnecting you from the Internet. I gave them 1 year, while I complained literally around 50 times so far, to fix them self, until I make review. Nothing is better and they still don't care at all. If there was a rating of -11 I would use it to describe this hotel. Thank you for reading
cockroaches everywhere,ice from room service in a plastic bag but rooms are ok, towels -1 for 2 person:) so be ready fo extremal conditions, bacause it's not a 4 stars at all, and it's over price.....
very poor customer service...no coffee....tissues ...bad client coordination of managers and other staffs. worse hotel apartelle I had been with for my years of stay in Dubai..I do not recommend the kind of service they give
Worst service. Absolutely rude manager, security and staff. Lack of hotel supplies. Dirty rooms. Worst experience- will never recommend this hotel to anyone. The security acts as "manager" after 6pm. Room smells like cigarettes. No tissue papers, tea and coffee in the room. The manager talks inappropriately to people and is not hospitable to any guest. This is not a suitable hotel for families and friends.
Worst service ever.... "WORST".... before we used to book this hotel and find it very accomodating.. but now the manager there is the worst ..the "WORST"... i don't know if its only us who experience this kind of service but we never felt welcome at all... tissues are not new, it was used and limited, no coffee is ready nor water... everything need to be called and requested... and most of all visitors are not allowed ...the manager there never helped but argue with you not even hospitable not at all! for those who are planning to book this one i hope you dont regret it like what we experienced...it was totally regretful and hope you dont experience the same... everyone there s not hospitable this hotel totally changed and they are "4 star hotel" totally different from other "4 star hotel" i know... i will never ever gonna book this hotel nor suggest to my friends and family!!!
