Dear all, just to warm you about 3 red flags you need to be aware about before booking this hotel (despite location and staff are ok): - you have an external disco on the beach in front of the hotel that will not allow you to sleep before 2 am... - cleaning of the room is the not at the level expected - ask explicitly for a room without connection with another room or you will have have the feeling to sleep your neighbours... I have made the mistake to follow "Directour" advise to book this hotel. Regards
Rooms are clean, concierge is lax and has poor communication with the rest of the front desk. English is a second language for staff so be aware when requesting cups you may get teas bags. Noise from barasti on the weekend isn't ideal but not the worst thing about the hotel. Building work next to the hotel means that the front of the hotel is a building site and if you are a lady be prepared for the looks you will receive.
A superb hotel, located on the beach with fantastic views.Excellent helpful staff, nothing too much trouble.Has the advantage of being able to use facilities of Westin hotel next door.Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone thinking of using it.
Great hotel, stayed in room 928, club meridien mina amenities which were first class. This allowed up to exclusive 10th floor for breakfast/canapes and drinks at night, this is really worth doing just for the service alone, we were looked after by Gladys, brilliant asset to the hotel. Went onto private beach every day where the level of service continued. Just everything oozed class and we hope to return soon.
Great value for money. Awesome view, has private beach, shares multiple pools and restaurants with adjoining Westin resort. JBR walk is close by, can't ask for more. Barasti night club is also close by where world comes to party. So this place has something for everyone. Shalini is the best in front office staff. Upgraded our room and made us feel special on our anniversary. Would love to go back
Marvelous hotel - modern, nice location with channel view. Staff are really professional, smiling, attentive and very helpful attitude - we had few requirements and was attended with no time. Breakfast was excellent, above usual UAE hotels menu, fresh and very tasty. Enjoyed our stay. Spa on bit expensive side, but worth it.
I'm visiting this hotel at the first time and definitely will be last time, the hotel management allowed a very load party just under the rooms of the guests, nothing special in the rooms or hotel, i'm a starwood gold member even my membership was not help me here which is a big surprise for me as i'm frequent traveler and i use starwood hotels all over the world.
Room are ok, functional most of them with view on the sea. But but, the noise, jeeeeez. There is a concert center on the beach, could not sleep for 3 nights. and no alternative, you have to deal with, because on the other side you are on the road. I do not recommend. Breakfast is average, nothing exceptional . Really disappointing
This hotel has a perfect location for people who love JBR, easy access to a number of MUST VISIT attractions of Dubai. Reception team is extremely welcomed as well as concierge team. I was studying in hospitality university and I may tell that for sure all required standards of 5 star hotel have been met + extra step! Well, you guys should try it by your self! PS if you stay there or in Westin, go to italian restaurant and try to book a table in Orange for bubbalicious brunch)
My business partner and I had rooms with sea views that are only slightly more expensive than the inland views and well worth the extra expense. Staff were extremely polite and efficient. Breakfast was above 5-Star, and even the coffee was served in individually brewed glass jars. A pleasant experience. The only problem preventing me from giving the hotel an overall 5-star rating was the extremely low water pressure in the bathrooms. I hate having showers where the water drips out instead of gushing out, and when one never knows if all the soap has been washed off or not. Next time I'll stay at the Westin next door (same group but more luxurious).
