what can i say, it is an amazing and warm place, always we come back here with joy wonderful staff, very clean rooms , and thank you for keeping this always the same , with fresh flowers and chocolate food its very good , and i really want to give a BIG THANK YOU TO MR TOLGA LACIN, , THE MANAGER WELL DONE AND 7 STARS FOR YOU SIR ...
We stayed at this hotel during our first stay in Dubai. The hotel exceeded our expectations. The location is great, the extensive grounds with numerous pools, bars and restaurants were superb. More over the staff are wonderful and very helpful. A big thank you to all of the sun lounger attendants who were ever so attentive and nice. If you're feeling lazy and want to stay around the hotel then the restaurants are excellent. We really enjoyed the Spanish and Greek restaurants which are as good as you'll find anywhere, a reason to visit alone! All in all, somewhere that we will be coming back to soon.
This hotel is everything you could want. Firstly the staff are amazing especially Elena on the check in desk she was friendly knowledgable and couldn't do enough for you. The staff all around the resort are ultra friendly and just can't do enough for you - the staff get 7 stars! Totally Awesome! The Food - WONDERFUL awesome selection of restaurants and the Half Board is so easy to understand - and such good value for money! From breakfast through to dinner all the food is great. LOCATION - Superb with a tram stop outside the hotel and just a short distance to the marina - it also has superb views of the palm - in my view it's one of the best locations. The hotel is clean, crisp, suave with absolutely gorgeous rooms! Now that fatal hang up ... the disco, I did know about it before I went but fooled myself to think well ill be joining in, and also surely the rooms will be double glazed. I even thought well ill have a higher floor and request to be as far away as possible. Please don't take this lightly the noise is unbearable until 3am on Thurs, Fri & Sat. I didn't get to sleep until 3:30am every night, it was SO LOUD ... there was no hiding from it, I actually cried at times because I couldn't handle it. It is deafening - it's not nice at all. I just don't understand why such a beautiful hotel would allow this to go on until so late and disturb so many guests. I spoke to quite a few people and they all agreed it was terrible. I woke up with headaches ... I can't imagine coming with a child. I'd really think twice before booking. Just for this soul factor of course if I wasn't staying on a thurs, fri or sat then I'd 100% recommend it. I'd really implore hotel management to think about what they are doing with this outdoor 'nightclub'
I stayed at the Mina Seyahi for three nights on business, my room was very nice on the 9th floor, lots of space a big bath and big shower. Important and something I always look for was there's an iron in the room, so points for that ! I ate in Gourmet by KCal restaurant on one of the nights and the food was really good, healthy with calories on everything to allow you make an informed choice. The Banana Sushi dessert ( no fish ) was amaziing !!!! The breakfast spread was also as usual for Dubai very good. Nice to be able to have your breakfast looking at the beach and and assortment of luxury yachts ! Overall great staff, friendly clean quality hotel
Beautiful comfortable resort. Helped being attached to much larger Westin hotel. Staff was friendly and little negative to state. Beach was a little disappointing as it was really small and in marina not sea , gulf or bay. Also jellyfish warning prohibited use. Weather while here was Hazy 5 of 7 days and disappointing but this is not resort fault. If weather nice the pool area was beautiful.
We arrived and was checked in Joe Johry - he was very welcoming and full of advice and tips for our stay in Dubai and an absolute credit to Le Meridien. The room, which was very clean, good comfortable bed, had a fantastic view of the beach, boat moorings and the Palm. You could even see Atlantis Hotel. The beach, like most beaches in Dubai appears to be dredged sand, so it was quite course and full of sharp shells, there was also rows upon rows upon rows of sun loungers, although not a huge amount of these were used during our stay (probably as the weather wash't great - we were in jumpers!) I would imagine it would be pretty unbearable if they were all used. There is a good selection of onsite restaurants and bars. Would we come back? Yes definitely due to the friendly reception staff
This hotel is GOOD... I mean really good.... have been lucky enough to stay in Dubai on a few occaisions and never had service like this - friendly and genuinely helpful! Rooms clean .. decor good .. everything to a high standard.. treat the staff with respect and they will do virtually anything for you to make you stay fabulous. The grounds are good without being great .. hotel is not too large so you still get the small resort feel and yet the much large Westin next door shares the same complex and you can use the much larger facilities if you wish. Pools are quiet, food is good (breakfast fresh and plentiful). Location is much better then youd expect... its just 500m from the Marina and on its own beach... dont stay on the Palm unless you understand what that means .. this area is so much better! Views are good without being crowded by skyscrappers.. NOTE The alcohol is very expensive! Its not difficult to drop 100 quid in a small bar bill just for two. Food is good but also expensive. This is more to do with cheap GBP than expensive place but be aware Dubai is NOT a cheap place to go. ALSO NOTE Theres a large and VERY popular beach club/disco on the edge of the complex. Fridays especially at night this will be VERY busy and loud... sound proofing in the rooms is very good.. but just be aware that it is currently a "hip place to go" so dont expect quiet evening sitting on the beach .... Hotel cars are good .. Lexus GS .. ask nicely and the price will be 80 per hr ... but the general taxis will get you to the Mall for 50 and they are perfectly fine. Hotel transfer to and from the airport is well worth it - pre arrange - as taxi rank gets very busy when international flights arrive.... we noted we beat other off our flight who had used taxi by a good 20min .. thats the length of time it takes to check in and no queue .. well worth it! Ask for latte at breakfast not coffee from the pot... its MUCH better. Will use this hotel again... we have choices but will opt for this on purpose thanks to its location and staff and general standard!
We have been holidaying to Dubai for the last ten years, and for the last 5 we have been staying at le Meriden on recommendation from friends that also continue to visit the hotel. Every time we visit the hotel on arrival we are greeted by Karim and his staff who truly welcome us back to the hotel and make the checking in process very smooth. We have stayed in different rooms over the years from sea view with balcony to a city view room, and find they are very comfortable, clean and have all the facilities you need. The rooms are cleaned to a high standard and the room boys are always happy to leave any extra toiletries you may need. Although jet lagged from a night flight we head to say hello to all the staff we have grown to know over the years. As soon as you step out to the garden/pool area you never have to walk to far before the friendly golf trolley staff Sohel & Mohan ask if they can take you anywhere on resort. As soon as you head to a sun lounger the resort team are on hand with towels and are always happy to move loungers for you along with putting umbrellas up. Omar is our favourite and always has a smile. All the pools are lovely. The le Meriden pool has a nice infinity feel with a swim up pool bar, which plays music. If you fancy some lane swimming there is a pool adjacent to the adult pool at the westin hotel which guests can use. It gets very hot in July/August time and there is never a shortage of bar staff attending to the garden, beach and pool areas. Benoni knows our drinks of by heart after all these years and nothing is every to much trouble and always makes time for an intelligent conversation. Gabriel is also a helpful guy and always assists us with a huge smile, however hot it is. We eat at most of the restaurants and find their is a good choice of food and we can highly recommend the sparking brunch on a Friday evening. It's worth the money for the entertainment and the food is amazing and so well presented. One of our favourites restaurants is the spice emporium and can recommend the Bangkok night on a Monday. The atmosphere and food are amazing. Sammy is a firm favourite of guests and always goes out of his way to say hello, and ensure all guests are happy. A welcome suggestion from Sammy was the water sports from the beach. Any info you need, Sammy is the man. Can't wait to return again in July!
Dubai in general is underwhelming Why it's fake built no character In general Dubai is my go to place Only a Lay over. But at the hotel Barsiti bar so much fun. Fish at the meridian was something out of movies feet in the sand pick ur over priced fresh fish so good Personally do not like Dubai this place made my two days somewhat normal
The Hotel was noisy there is a bar by the beach where the partying did not stop until around two in the morning, not what you expect from a five star hotel. we complained at least three nights out of the seven as the guests in the room next to us would come in from partying and start playing loud music then one night loud sex, not a nice sound to wake up to. The manager on reception did not want to know at one stage he hid around the corner when he saw me coming. For someone who has had some fantastic holidays in Dubai I would never ever recommend this hotel to anyone. To add insult to injury some one on reception sent up a battered chocolate éclair to apologise for a ruined holiday. We usually stay at the Royal Meridian Jumera Beach, now that is a hotel I can highly recommend.
