A lovely guest house with very kind friendly owners who took customer service to a new level, they went over and above expectation very flexible and accomodating. The double room was very comfortable and homely with all requirments. I would recommend this for an overnight stay. Property is close to ferry port. It had a lovely outdoor pool unfortunately this was not available to use at the time we stayed as it was due to be cleaned the day we left. If however it had been available I would have rated stay as excellent.

We were welcomed at the door by the owner and shown to our room. The room was clean and spacious and comfortable. The owner brought us a plate of snacks and a jug with milk for tea. This is a basic room but adequate for an overnight before a ferry. Breakfast is available but not really if you are planning an early ferry. We were offered a pack up of fruit and sandwiches however.

We only stayed for 1 night but the hosts were very nice, friendly and warm people. The house and rooms were very cozy. The full English breakfast was yummy. We loved our short stay and we definitely recommend it.

We also got caught in Satnav/GPS trap - was very happy not to sleep at the Kebab shop!. Once we arrived- excellent host & hostess & breakfast. Classic good standard bed & breakfast - comfortable (Though tired) & clean with good service. Minor items to consider - Off-road parking is on main road. Quite steep steps down to house. Bedroom at front has main road. Bedrooms at back has local railway line (not invasive if asleep). Pool needed cleaning - happily the poor weather made this not a problem. Never found the bar/lounge. Was advised on arrival that payment in cash was mandatory - not a great surprise - better to mention on website or in advance!!.

Another great stay and I've stayed here many times A lovely breakfast prepared by Heather as always Great hosts in Heather and Barry and I'd thoroughly recommend a stay here with them. I'm just sorry mine couldn't be longer! Thank you

Had a very warm welcome and stayed in a very nice room. The breakfast was very good. You have to pay cash here. The parking is very limited but parked on the main road with no problem. As I brought my own dinner, I do not know how near or not you are to a restaurant or pub. Would come back here.

Excellent stay, Very warm and Friendly welcome. Spacious, clean and inviting Ensuite room. Breakfast was fantastic. Car parking space available. two minutes from the Ferry terminal. Will defiantly stay again when in the area. Picture shows view from room.

I stayed here for two nights whilst working in Dover. I checked in late on the first night but Barry was excellent. He showed me to my room, dropped off fresh milk for a cup of tea and also a couple of sponge cakes. Breakfast in the morning was superbly cooked by Heather and was an amazing feast. On my return even later the next night my room had been tided and a welcoming Barry met me at the door. Nothing was too much trouble for these very kind people. On request they provided sandwiches for my two days as well. Their house is very nice indeed. I had a large room with ensuite facilities. There is off road parking which is very good. Extremely good value and I would definitely stay again.

Recently my wife and I visited France. We were unable to take our rental on the ferry. When I booked the B&B I explained this situation to our hosts and they kindly let us leave our rental at the property for the time we were away. We then got a taxi to and from the ferry for our journey. We stayed 2 nights and the welcome by our hosts was great. We had a great breakfast both days and a wonderful sleep each night. We will certainly stay again when we return to the U.K.

I had the pleasure of staying with Heather & Barry from September 4th through to the 7th, and I thank them for opening their home, not only to myself but for all travellers who are seeking total peace and relaxation. The bedroom, complete with en-suite is something to look forward to at days end after pounding the pavements of Dover site seeing. I recommend this B&B to one and all who want warmth, comfort and good conversations in a homely enviroment. 😊
