Just come back for a lovely two night break in this lovely hotel Good value for money - and they had upgraded our room to a sea view room and didn't know about it When we arrived we told them it was our wedding anniversary so they gave us two vouchers to get a free glass of processo wine which was nIce of them The room was very clean and spacious with a lovely view of the pool and sea The staff were very helpful and Sam the barman brought out our coffee's to us in the evening and looked after us when we had our dinner in the pub restaurant. There are four restaurants to choose from and we used the one in the suncliffe hotel on our first night with our deal then second night on our anniversary we used the pub restaurant but both foods were very tasteful and nice The weather stayed hot and sunny which we was happy with and the beach was a short walk and the town too.. All the food was nice and the waiters and waitresses were very efficient too. It was attention to detail with the surroundings and on the food. We will defo come back and we do reccomend this hotel barry and jackie townsend hertford herts

Last year I had lunch at this hotel and it was very enjoyable, so when I saw that Superbreak had offers here, I immediately booked a 2 night break. How disappointing! Our room was at the back of the hotel (no sea view), is this because it's an offer?? Free wifi was VERY intermittent (I was told by the receptionist that "it must be your iPad")......strange, because it works everywhere else!! The shower was awful, literally a dribble and the pillows must have been years old, they were as flat as pancakes....horrible. Now to the dinner offered on the first night......honestly, it was truly awful.....(and totally inedible). we were dreading breakfast next morning but we were both pleasantly surprised....it was very nice!! I also meant to count the number of different carpet styles in the communal areas. I have never seen anything quite like it!! The location of this hotel is great but take my advice and book next door at The Cumberland, same hotel group but a much nicer looking hotel.

Staff all very friendly. Meals where beautiful with good menu selection. In door pool spotless. And outdoor pool set in lovely surroundings. The fact that you can use facilities from all 3 hotels is excellent

Came here for another weekend as agreed with the hotel manager. Room was better than the last one we stayed in however a little cold the 1st night, needs a bit if an update & shower took a long time to geat up. Beautiful view of the sea from our balcony. Dinner in the hotel pub was very nice! 8/10. Fire alarm did go off twice Sunday morning at 7.50 but soon stopped which woke us up. Parking is a huge pain in the bum so make sure you have some change handy. A much better trip & very welcoming. 8/10 from us this time; have restored faith.

Visited Suncliff with Wife and daughter and stayed in the beautiful bay fronted room overlooking the sea - absolutely great. Weather amazing first half and more cloudy later but Bournemouth came up trumps with all it has to offer. Room was spotless and fully equipped, staff - super friendly and helpful with many lovely meals in the restaurant and Overcliff pub We also enjoyed the Sister hotel facilities as a variety too.

Celebrating our 60th and 65th birthdays, we were upgraded to a superior room with balcony and sea view and we enjoyed the sweet birthday treat left in the room for us. All of the staff at this hotel were helpful, friendly and efficient. Breakfasts were plentiful with a wide range on offer. Situated in an ideal location for us, we enjoyed our three night break and would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

The staff were so friendly! We had an excellent view of the sea and our own little balcony. It was perfect. The room was very comfortable and got my husband to try out the sauna foe the first time lol Thank you for everything

On arrival we were allocated an upgraded room, {zara}, a penthouse room with stunning views over the sea. A birthday gift was already waiting for my wife in the room, just the start o a very enjoyable short stay. Every one of the staff have been trained in the art of customer service. The rooms are tastefully decorated and although it is an old building, is extremely comfortable with a choice of bars and sitting areas. Having the use of the sister hotels amenities is a bonus, the food is of a good range and quality, the evening dinner is exceptional. This must be one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. The attention to guests needs are a refreshing change. Stayed July 2017 RG. Slough
