Me and my friends booked this place on our road trip. Booking was easy and we only needed the place to crash in for one night. Reasonable price for the room. We told them early that we will be late and the lady who answered game us the door code so we can get in when we arrive. Room and bathroom was pretty clean compare to other hostels we stayed. Fresh towels and bed covers. Most important thing was the parking. The space was enough for two large SUV's. Met the lady in-charge only when we about to leave. So all n all a good place to stay and worth the money you pay.

I stayed for 4 nights with 3 other people. Our room barely had space to walk or leave our cases, and the WiFi connection was frustrating. Also, breakfast is not included unless you are willing to pay £7 a day. However, it was the cheapest one we found and the service was ok.

Looks nice in the pictures doesn't it!, They were either taken some considerable years ago or the owner is a very talented photographer! The owner was rude to my 6 year old daughter for asking a simple question about the guest house and we had to guess where our room was from the post it note key we were handed. "Check out by 11" and "Breakfast is across the road in the café" seemed to be the owners only concern. After a brief search around the dingy corridors we found our room. The room we were given was dirty and very tired, It didn't smell too good either. The carpet looked like it had been reclaimed from the local tip with lots of interesting stains and marks depicting its long and filthy history. The room was decorated.....I'm guessing at some point between 1978-1983, And is now a rather entertaining game of "find the bit of paint that's not peeling off"! If you like suspicious dirt and stains then this is definitely the place to stay! Our room had a fascinating brown stain up the wall which for the sake of being kind I'll say was "coffee", not to mention the numerous other yellow and brown marks. The bed was hilariously creaky, I could have almost reproduced the entire length of Beethoven,s 5th symphony by taking just one breath while laying on it. Just to show how much they care the "cleaner" had kindly sprinkled the pillows with the previous users hairs....which was nice. I appreciate that its cool and modern to be minimalist with interior design, but when I go to the toilet I find that sitting with my chin in the wash basin rather inconvenient....I presume that it must be for the modern fast moving executives who like to brush their teeth while taking a crap! I hope if you've read this far that you choose a different place to stay in Bournemouth. If not here are a few added bonuses to help you decide to avoid this place. * TV is tiny (not that important) * Wifi is non-existant * Door locks don't work * the "bar" was nicked from Pat Butchers house * "Nearby parking" means "On the road" * Did I mention dirty? * Its dirty Summery: If you want to experience a drug addicts bedsit then stay at Ingledene Guest House. It is not a suitable environment for children to stay. The majority of the owners replies on Tripadvisor are very confrontational and show a distinct lack of respect for his customers. I'm sure my review will be given an answer that reeks of Basil Fawlty and no doubt be copy and pasted from the self help book "Bull droppings to say when people complain to make me sound good and influence people". Slang definition of "Budget" - Low quality or cheap. * Low quality: Fair enough, it is! * Cheap: It is not! Try as I might I couldn't find any connection between "budget" and an inability to perform simple cleaning and maintenance. "AA 2 star rating" This means that they have passed a very short list of criteria on the general state of the guest house, many of which have little to do with the actual rooms or cleanliness at all. A simple email to the Automobile Association about Ingledene proved very informative and confirmed that any rating system is flawed.

This is a typical seaside resort B&B that requires some much need TLC. Don't get me wrong, it was fantastic for what my group of girlfriends needed it for (a hen do weekend, somewhere to simply sleep and get ready for nights out). There is on street parking right out the front. The rooms are cramped, no bigger than 3m x 3m and we had a double bed and 2 single beds crammed in to this tiny space, but again, we didnt really need much more from this room other than to sleep and get ready. Beds are OK. Room decor was grim, obviously a few stag / hen groups had visited this room and left their mark! Tiny bathroom with only just enough room for a toilet, sink and shower cubicle. Everything was clean enough, but honestly could do with one big deep clean to get it to a nice enough standard long term. Shower was awful, the sink tap had more power. Plenty of wardrobe space in the rooms. Rooms have no key, only a combination lock which do not lock behind you, so don't forget to lock your door! Breakfast in the morning was surprisingly good, fresh and cooked to order. We had 2 rooms of 4 and were on the top floor of the guest house, along with other groups of Stags and Hens. No wifi. They have an onsite bar which closed at 10pm. We were surprised to find out on arrival that we had to pay a £200 deposit. I wouldn't be shocked if it was for damages, I can understand this with the nature of some drunken guests, but the deposit was for NOISE!!! Thankfully, we did get all of our deposit back. Noise restrictions are from 9pm until 7am. All in all I would recommend this B&B for stag and hen parties, but possibly not for families or romantic breaks - especially at weekends when the stags and hens arrive! About £6 in a taxi to the main bar street and not much more to the beach.

Stayed in this b&b for two nights with my mum, sister and niece. The room was clean although a bit small. The beds were very comfortable with good quality, clean linen. The beach wasn't far away and there were amenities near by. The staff was very friendly.

this place was really just what we Needed They let us put 4 guys in the room for just 130£ for 2 nights The staff were very very polite and very helpful even letting us make a bbq on the premises I really like this place and advise people to stay there !!!

After looking on and on their website I was still in the dark about breakfast arrangements so I sent an email, whoever is responsible for the replies is very rude and abrupt in my opinion and I'm glad I hadn't already booked before making contact and even more so after reading their trip advisor reviews!

Superb value for money friendly bed and breakfast. This is a great option for groups and even families and couples. The staff are friendly and the rooms are simple but nicely decorated. The hotel is close to Bournemouth station too which is really handy.

If you want your spiritual life to be better then look no further and enjoy the wonderful ingledene experience. Its been a privelege and an honour to meet the king of happiness himself. And all done in a loving way at prices to die for. Will be back soon. Recommended. the best of the best

The room was filthy especially the carpets. No milk tea or coffee was available for the mornings. The bedding never got changed.Manager was unfriendly and the place was full of immigrants and in the middle of a red light district.Stear clear.
