Enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable. The dining was very good Breakfast was very very good. The staff was wonderful and helpful. I felt bad because I had to ask the waiter several times to repeat himself. I was having trouble with his accent but I finally got it. He was good very patient with me. ( I am from the states I should be able to understand English). Very nice stay.

The George Albert Hotel And Spa...was good but there were a few hiccups and they do need to be sorted...We found that the pillows in the rooms were flat and I did not sleep at all on the 2nd night of staying ..so I went home really tired....The Breakfast on the 1st day was not good as we saw it and have had much better in other restaurants in Hotels....The scrambled eggs on the Sunday we stayed was mushy and looked awful...The other food seemed to be laying in water or something and the tomatoes were watery and not as they should be...The Bacon was hard and not easy to cut? so probably overcooked and laid there ready for customers. My husband was waiting for more bacon to come out as there was only 2 slices in the tray for self service...The chef came out and just stood there knowing my husband was going to choose bacon but waited there and did not say a word about the bacon. My husband did not want it as it was fatty in parts on the last 2 bits...He walked away but waited until we had service our own breakfast ...so my husband had no bacon. Then the Chef walked back out into the restaurant and only then started to fill up again..He knew my husband had already served his breakfast but wanted him to take the fatty bacon first before he brought the rest out?. He did not even say Sir is everything alright or do you want some more bacon. I did not have a full breakfast as it did not look appetising at all. One woman coughing over breakfast put me off.Dinner and lunch excellent

This hotel was nice and included a full breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean but the bathroom has some oddities: 1) the door had a very strong closing mechanism so would not remain open (to let out steam), in fact it was hard to push open. 2) It had an odd smell in it as it someone had possibly smoked in it previously. We did not feel it was so bad to change rooms or report it. The location was good for visiting the shoreline and other parts of southern England.
