A nice business hotel and value for money. The room is pretty large and nice wifi coverage. You have plenty of choices for breakfast, from western to asian. However the CNN channel was not working but I guess this could be the sensor from the government.
The hotel is excellent!!! Big rooms!!! In the entrance of the hotel there is a Starbucks cafe!!! The breakfast was a buffet style with many choices!!! For dinner there is a Chine restaurant and an international restaurant with!!! The price of the room is really gooD!!!
Overrated for 5*, good service and all staff are nice, very clean, but old furniture and smell of it, the hotel was great on 90s and it needs some new curtains and furniture. Breakfast is ok, good music at the hotel floors and piano at the lobby, dont think will stay here again.
This hotel is super. Very nice building, very helpful staff and they speak English. The room was comfortable and clean. The bed was great. The air conditioning was fantastic. The hotel also has a nice spa and great restaurants. If you are in Dongguan Humen area you must give it a try. Great rates too!
The Grand Noble is a great hotel - rooms are large and the bathrooms are very spacious and well designed. The hotel is a bit old fashion in decor, but I think this is why the hotel carries the name GRAND so well and is the place to stay when visiting Humen town. Staff are very good, especially Mr Desmond Lu (Deputy General Manager) who has outstanding customer service skills which helped to make my stay most enjoyable, he is a very good man. Facilities within the hotel are clean and well staffed. Elevators are quick - will stay here again.
Room is okay. Restaurant is okay. The wifi in the room is okay but not so good at the lobby with poor reception. The breakfast is a bit monotonous. It took quite a while for the cook to do me a bowl of noodles.
The Grand Noble Hotel in Humen Town ìs my company's preferred hotel in the Dongguan area. This was my first visit and found the hotel to be clean, comfortable and a reasonable value. The breakfast choices were acceptable and there was enough variety to keep me happy during my three day stay. The Internet service was good. I've stayed in many hotels in China and the Grand Noble is definitely in the middle of the group.
This was my first visit to Dongguan and to this hotel. The hotel is centrally located in the middle of Humen Town. The area feels similar to some other mid-sized cities I have visited in China. I was here on business and visiting a factory in Humen Town so the location was great. I took a car from Guangzhou airport which took about 1.5hours without too much traffic. Check-in was smooth (pre-booked on booking.com). Room was a good sized room (I booked a standard room grade). The decor of the room is a bit dated though but the bed was comfortable and the shower water pressure was good so no major complaints. My room was facing a major street on the 11th floor and you could hear intermittent honking from the road below. But generally it got quiet during the night and early morning hours. Free Wifi in the room and throughout most of the hotel and was able to connect to google sites. However, sometimes the wifi went down briefly. Breakfast was included in my rate and was not bad. Decent amount of western and Chinese options. Staff were friendly enough for Chinese standards with plenty of smiles. English at the front desk was no problem. But for other staff, English seemed to be limited to only a few staff. But all seemed very friendly. I also tried the Chinese restaurant on the 4th floor. Food was very good and reasonably priced. Would probably stay here again if I return to Humen Town.
This review is for the Kansas City Bar and Grill inside the Grand Noble Hotel. Excellent staff, good choice of food and drinks, tasty pizza. Will definitely return if in town again.Thank you for a great experience!
The hotel owner thoroughly impressed me. He's a truly admirable, humble and decent human being. I'll begin with the traditional review elements. Please, keep reading so you can find out why I'm stunned at the decency and diligence of the hotel's owner. The hotel is beautifully done. The lobby is granite and marble in tones of brown and tan. The woodwork is lovely. This is a beautifully decorated hotel; definitely grand but not gaudy or ostentatious. It's sophisticated and sleek. The lobby has both a fantastic buffet and a Starbucks. The second floor has an excellent Dim Sum restaurant. The hotel rooms are sophisticated and refined. Everything is well made. Their toiletries include a wood comb, a particularly nice touch. The staff was polite, professional and helpful. Their main concierge speaks impeccable English. I felt well cared for throughout my stay. All of this would have resulted in a 4 star review... ...but the hotel's owner saved my butt. I'd forgotten both my wallet and my passport in my hotel drawer. I'd checked my room twice, but I completely forgot to check one particular drawer. Two hours later I was in another hotel in Jiangmen and I realized what I had done. Damn and double damn; I felt stupid. My business partner called the Grand Noble. Within minutes "a man" said he'd found the wallet and passport. I asked for them to use a courier service and overnight it to me. The person was one of the hotel owners and he wasn't certain I'd receive the package before I left Jiangmen. So, he got in his car and drove two hours to my hotel in Jiangmen. He waited in the lobby and asked me to inspect both my wallet and passport. He'd sealed them in an envelope. I was stunned. Absolutely stunned. This man must be a multi-millionaire and he could have had any staff member drive my wallet & passport to me. Instead, he brought it himself and waited in the lobby, humble, quiet and smiling. He was so humble I thought he was a taxi driver or company driver. My business partner said "No, no he owns 1/3rd of the hotel." He then got back in his car and returned to Humen Town in Dongguan. I'm sending him a gift basket. I haven't decided on what to get him yet. He saved my trip. My stupidity would have made it impossible to check into any additional hotels, I wouldn't have been able to travel to Hong Kong, get on the plane to Taiwan and eventually return to the US. I would have spent days in a US Consulate being lectured about my stupidity. Or, I would have been forced to return to Humen Town, which wouldn't have been easy because no taxi would drive that far. I hope the man who helped me reads this. He's a true gentleman.
