The room and bathroom was outdated, but clean. I like rooms with the vinyl plank or tile floors instead of carpeting, but the carpet had been vacuumed and was in decent shape. The maid staff does not clean the room on a daily basis, so the towels we had for the first night were all we had until I went to the office the next day and asked for more. On the third morning I asked for maid service with enough towels to last for the two nights left to our stay, but only one set was left after the maid service. Also, there wasn’t any coffee supplies in the room except for the one day of the maid service. I don’t have a problem with the room not being cleaned daily, but I at least need fresh towels. For the rate being charged, I shouldn’t have to ask everyday for fresh towels. Otherwise, the room was comfortable.
Clean and spacious room, updated bath, pleasant service. Good exterior lighting. We left before breakfast so we can’t comment on that.
They had a wonderful breakfast. Weekend was better than weekdays. Our toilet stopped working we called the front desk and she said she would call maintenance, after a while we went to the front desk and she hadn’t called anyone. Explained the toilet didn’t work and we couldn’t go all night like this. She finally offered to change our room. Not sure if they can do anything about this next one. There are birds everywhere and you can’t go uncovered or get pooped on

The Hotel advertised full cable but only had 6 channels saying that they changed management and the new management stopped the cable. I am an avid fan of the Cardinals and could not watch them. The desk person would not even discuss it with me. The room was advertised as smoke free but the sheets and blankest all had many cigarette burns. The floors were not clean. The free wireless would work a while then kick you off. Not a place that I would send anyone too. Last year I stayed at the Comfort Suites which is in Salem right beside this hotel and it was really nice. The reason I did not this time was I was traveling alone and there was no specials available.
Older hotel that shows its age. There's a Denny's attached to the hotel and a Walmart is a short walk next door but not much else around.
