I stayed here alone for one night as I was passing through Athens Airport on my way up North by car. I arrived quite late but the staff were there and friendly and couldnt have been more help. There is a lively square close by (5 min walk or 2 by car) that had a number of bars and restaurants that appear to stay open quite late. The room was quite big, the bed comfortable and the air conditioning was fully functioning (a must in summer). WIFI was a bit ropey in my room but the staff gave me the code to another system which worked perfectly.
Nice and happy personnel, good breakfast, nice location !!!!!!! Ideal for either business trip or vacations in Northern Attica!!! You definitely need a car if you want to go around. Strongly recommend it !!!
we stoped in this hotel late at night after landing in Athens and before our tour to the north.the owner was very polite and gave us our rooms.the next morning we had an avarage breakfast and left.the place is old and needs renovation.there are some nice old pieces like old typewriter machines, telephones.
Very decent hotel for the rates they sell. Rooms inside are well decorated our bed was ok. Clean and trully polite staff. Management should pay more attention in placing info brochures in rooms rather than a A4 paper notifying guests only that "if the lines are worned out there is an extra cost". Balconies and showers need to be attented to. Excellent goes to the staff that seem to be doing more the one and two tasks each to keep guests satisfied and to run the property. Location mainly for those with transportation otherwise buses run frequently towards Kiffissia aprox. 25 min.
This hotel is about 30 km from the center of Athens but for those who travel by car I think is not a problem due to good motorways. Is a very good hotel with a good prices and good staff and the owner is a very nice man. We are a big family with 5 kids and we stayed in august 2016 in a very big apartment with 2 interconected rooms with bathrooms. The A/C works well, the rooms were clean and we will return.
My family and I booked three rooms here only to be told upon arrival that our reservations had been cancelled (unofficially) and the rooms had been given to other guests. The woman at reception matter-of-factly told us that someone from the hotel had tried to call us to re-confirm our confirmed booking and we had not answered. When we informed her that no such attempt had been made and showed her the call log on the phone, she indeed realized that there was not a single call from the hotel. She then blamed us for not calling the hotel on the day to re-confirm our booked rooms (which, unbeknownst to us, had already been given away). All requests to speak with the manager or for the hotel to rectify the situation were categorically refused and we were forced to scramble to find another hotel at the last minute. The website through which we made the reservations (booking.com) investigated the matter promptly, found that the hotel was clearly at fault and will refund us the difference in price between the two hotels. In our dealings with this hotel and in conversation with several of its guests who attended the same wedding we did, I understand that it is this hotel's policy to use false advertising, to make changes in room reservations without notifying guests and to essentially offer booked rooms to newer guests at higher prices. I recommend that travelers to the area find alternate accommodation for their own peace of mind.
We stayed at Anoixi Boutique Hotel on August 2016. We were looking for a nice quiet boutique hotel on the outskirts of Athens. The hotel is easy to locate, within walking distance of Drosia's town center. We arrived early in the evening and had to park across the street as there was no parking space available at the hotel at that time. We were greeted by a friendly young lady that was eager to check us in and explain all there is to know about the area when we needed more information. Our room was tastefully decorated, although very small, especially compared to other room photos. Judging by the fact that there was only one set of towels and one mug in the room, I think that it was destined for single use rather than double. Please note that I specifically asked for a nice double room as it was as special occasion. Housekeeping needs some serious improvement. Codwebs on the ceiling and floor that wasn't wiped properly are not acceptable, no matter how cheap the room is. Bathroom was dysfunctional and flooded every time we had a shower. The A/C was very noisy, can't say I had a good night's sleep. The small buffet was ravaged at 08:00 that we went for breakfast. A lady was rushing from the front desk to the buffet to refill, the same lady that checked us out. She was very polite. Overall, it was a good value for money boutique hotel...There is definitely room for improvement. I recommend it, as long as people know what to expect.
Very nice and interesting hotel for those who love old things. It really is a little museum. The breakfast is very rich, in a pretty room. The lady at the reception, Hellen, is lovely! For those who gave bad reviews: if you expect 3 stars conditions, go to 3 stars!
Not a boutique hotel. Law maintenance, leaking pipes in bathroom (checked 4 rooms), very old, very poor breakfast. The very polite stuff can't cover for the poor facilities. Only if you have no expectations but sleeping.
Old, homey hotel. Tries to build an image with some older furniture and antiques here and there among the vending machines. Needs plenty of maintenance, especially the bathrooms. Extremely polite staff, poor breakfast but overall it is value for money.
