Hotel needs a refresh. Our door stuck hard, and ceiling in bathroom had obviously had previous leak and repaint was abismal. The worst thing was the complimentary breakfast change to buffet. Choices so limited, same stuff 3 mornings in a row. Cold egg dish, no milk, no cereal or oatmeal. I loved the old homemade jumbo caramel rolls... now gone from breakfast. Hotel restraint not set up for much of a buffet... no facilities or even counter space. Saw a family with kids and the kids didn’t eat, even a couple of guys complained! Also, we love that it is pet friendly but, after 3 years of coming still not one blade of grass on property. Dogs have to go in empty lot full of junk. Sign pet policy talking about grassy areas that don’t exist. Prices fair for hotel but would benefit in what we would pay if spiffed things up!

noisy with a room near pool! Party noise all night long from wedding

It was just OK, but nothing great, everything was clean, and the staff was friendly,

Within walking distance to restaurants. Easy on and easy off to freeway. Good Happy Hour at hotel.

The room was in a "private" part of the hotel which made it very quiet and easy access. The stay was a vacation. Pool was at the complete opposite end of the hotel and the only access was to walk through the lobby. Friday night there was a wedding just off of the lobby with buffet serving pool side. No way were we walking through the crowd and becoming entertainment for the wedding guests. The bed sheets felt washed out and very wrinkled however I would prefer the feel of crisp sheets. Our granddaughter was with us and we needed to repeatedly ask for additional towels because they stocked only for 2 persons when the registration was for 3. The weather was very hot and the maid service turned the air conditioning off when emptying the trash. The temperature that day was 100. The restaurant was only open for breakfast and dinner.

Hotel is certainly a little dated and worn, but no major complaints about it. It is a nice "average" hotel. Staff was very friendly and room was clean!

They were friendly and my room was warm. Big winter storm was headed our way. It was nice to feel safe and warm

Nice free sit-down breakfast. Booked through Orbitz and somehow reserved the wrong type of room. Staff was able to switch to a different room; all the way across the hotel but no charge.

I've had bad experiences booking through the desk. Pile of hair behind bathroom door. Cheap bathroom fixtures are starting to show their age. Shower stall heavily caulked. The bar is nice and food is ok. This place was booked out weeks in advance during the boom and now is affordable but a bit more shoddy.

We were traveling across the country and trying to save money on hotels, but this was the highest quality hotel we visited.

Overall a good experience. The bed was comfortable, the heat/cooling unit worked well and the room was decorated nicely -- which was appreciated after a long day of traveling. The lobby area was very attractive, and the desk clerk friendly and efficient. Our issues were minor, but detracted from an otherwise positive experience. Housekeeping should be more thorough and maintenance issues reported before they become problematic. In our room (#2021) there was no coffee or shower soap, our floor lamp was broken (immediately replaced), the USB charger on the table lamp did not work, the upholstery in the sitting area needed spot cleaning the carpet needed to be thoroughly vacuumed and the long black hairs in the bathtub were concerning).

The hotel is nicely located for excursions to Theodore Roosevelt National Park.

The beds and comfort are great. We all slept great. The lobby and new wing are beautiful, but the rest of the hotel could use some tlc. The pool, exercise room and food are okay, but not great. The staff was friendly and competent.

Awful. A/C was so loud, couldn't hear tv nor sleep. Room was not clean. Water trickled from faucet. Missing coffee pot. Couldnt find remote to a /c...burned out bulb. A/c roared on and off all night...

Very happy with room , location and a warm breakfast.

Fine stop on a long road trip--nothing fancy, but comfortable.

Understaffed at breakfast. They have a complementary breakfast, but instead of a buffet they attempt to serve a limited menu. They are very understaffed which resulted in long waits and in some cases cold food.

It's all good ......................just another regular hotel

enjoyed our short stay, clean and had lots of room for 3 people sharing. Bathroom a little to small but shower was great.

The hotel was hospitable and clean. Dickinson of course is a very busy town that I wouldn't want a family to be in for very long.
