Lovely hotel in a great location. The beds are really comfortable and I'm usually very picky The rooms were clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent self service breakfast with fresh food and loads of choice. Pretty good value for a central City hotel.

We use this hotel several times a year and we always find the staff to be very helpful and friendly. Location of this hotel is great. Lovely bar area although more staff needed at times to manage the bar. We had to move rooms and the reception manager and his assistant were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble.

What a fantastic pace to stay they couldn't do enough for us. We stayed has we were doing the plymouth half marathon and we were able to go back to shower after which we thought was great they were polite and pleasant whatever we asked for was no problem. Thank you to all your excellent staff and cleanliness of your pace keep it up .

The hotel is passable. Clean reception. Slow check in but it was the half marathon weekend. The public car park is accessed from behind the hotel and involves a walk, stairs and lifts to get to the reception. £11 for 24 hours pay in advance or if after 5 get £8 ticket from the hotel. It is secured at night so safe to leave the car. It's a 4 minute walk to Sutton wharf. The room was mostly ok. Comfortable beds, small freeview tv, coffee and tea making facilities, ironing board, hair dryer but no safe. The room was warm and direct sun meant we had to keep the curtains closed . The window was locked shut although I noticed many other windows opened. It was quite noisy although we had the quiet inward facing rooms. The toilet leaked and smelt of stale urine. It was too late to change rooms when we discovered this.

Plymouth has pulled up it socks, and put new shoes on! lovely hotel, very friendly staff nice easy check in. Some lovely restaurants in the hoe area, Goto sushi outstanding , Rockfish lovely. Aquarium super.

The hotel is decorated well, modern, clean and staff are pleasant but there was some road noise in the side bedrooms. Then on the second night, people playing music into the early hours of the morning. It is also in a perfect location to walk to the town centre or the Barbican.

Have just spent three nights with my wife at the Hotel. It's very well located for the Barbican and City Centre. The room was as expected, clean, comfortable and functional. The customer service was very good. Friendly staff, professional.

I have recently returned from a nights stay at the Jurys Inn, Plymouth. Upon arrival we were greeted by Reese who was great, he checked us in nice and quickly and we checked into our rooms within 5 minutes. It was one of my friends birthday's and he kindly gave us a bottle of wine to celebrate which was a nice touch! The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable - perfect for a nights stay. There is a bar in reception where you can go for drinks before heading out which was lovely and the staff were accommodating (special thanks to Thomas). Overall, we had a pleasant short stay and would return!

The hotel is reasonable for the price. Close to the centre of Plymouth you have easy access to Plymouth. The room that I had on this occasion was a decent room, just on the small side. The restaurant food is reasonable; however, if it is a prolonged stay can become repetitive. Staff are friendly and helpful.

I have been working in Plymouth for the past 5 months or so and have chosen to stay at The Jurys whenever I can. The location is good, a short walk from the city centre, The Barbican or The Hoe. The accommodation is always clean & fresh and the service from the staff is of a consistently high standard and they are always friendly. I hate singling people out but I'm going to anyway. If Reece is on reception he always checks whether my room has been set up correctly (as a regular, you get water, biscuits, premium wi-fi and other extras). Whether in the bar or the restaurant, Kristina always looks after you. I've seen her having to be very patient with a couple of customers that were a little worse for drink. Sophy always seems to find me a table in the restaurant even when they are very busy. Then there's Ruda who never seems to stop smiling. The food in the restaurant is consistently good. It's not a huge menu but there's enough choice for most people and there's usually a chef's special. The beef bourguignon, made with a rib of beef, is probably my recommendation. As my project in Plymouth draws to a close it will be a shame not to be going back to the Jurys. If I could take this hotel to my next location, I would. Room tip - if you are staying on a Wednesday try to get a room at the rear of the hotel. It's student happy-hour in most of the bars nearby and it can be a bit noisy at the front.
