Magnificent old homes repurposed into an inn! Delicious breakfast spread! Friendly staff (but not very well-informed, even on the inn's history; i think the place may have changed hands after the pandemic and they're not up to speed yet))
Wonderful stay in beatifully restored Victorian houses. I will come again!
Everyone was so friendly and helpful, from the managers to the woman who baked the "applesauce bread" at breakfast to the gentleman cleaning the room. The sitting area was very comfortable and pleasant. And the playlist for the soft music in the lobby was perfect - from Vivaldi to Motown! A short walk to the excellent Detroit Museum of Art and the interesting African American History Museum.
Beautiful old houses, very well preserved. Helpful and friendly staff.
The shuttle service and breakfast are great. The parking is free, but tight. Free Wifi. We paid extra for a bigger room - not sure what that bought us. There are no refrigerator in the room.
The front desk graciously allowed us an early check-in. The room was cozy with a very comfortable bed and quality bedding. I enjoy the charm of older buildings. We stayed in the carriage house. The hot breakfast was very good. We took advantage of the complimentary shuttle to a Red Wings game. A nice perk. We were pleased with our stay and would return.
We enjoyed our stay at the Inn on Ferry Street. The room was small, but nice and comfortable. The staff was very helpful. And the area felt comfortable and safe.
Beautiful historic property close to the art museum. Our king sized room was very large, beautiful and updated. There is a shuttle that drove us the short distance downtown and the driver was very informative. I would definitely stay here again.
quaint. great location. helpful staff,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Beautifully restored old houses. Very friendly and helpful staff. My room and bathroom were very large with lots of daylight. A big improvement over the corporate hotels I usually stay at. Also, one block from the Institute of Arts and a bunch of good restaurants are within walking distance.
I just cannot say enough wonderful things about this property and the staff. We have stayed here four times and it is our go-to place while staying in Detroit. The historic inn has been restored to its original condition and each room unique/ We are always greeted by warm and friendly staff, the beds are extremely comfortable, the breakfast is always fresh and homemade, and the free shuttle service is the icing on the cake. We have already booked to stay again in May 2019 when we are in town for another concert. Thank you Inn on Ferry Street for being a diamond in the D-Town, we love your place, staff and service!!!
