Check in not ideal and noisey first nite, but after bringing it to the management attention, every effort was made to accommodate us. Staff exceptionally nice and efficient. I would go there again.

Room is not clean , very old & service also bad . Why so expensive ?

WE HAD A GREAT TIME IN DETROIT, WENT TO A BALL GAME, WALKED AROUND, WENT TO GREEK TOWN ROAD THE PEOPLE MOVER. HOLIDAY IN WAS VERY CLOSE TO ALL, PLACE WAS CLEAN, EMPLOYEE WERE VERY NICE. THE BREAKFAST WAS GREAT. ENJOYED ARE STAY, WILL STAY AGAIN.

close enough to Atwater Brewery and Comerica Park. good breakfast and clean room. We all enjoyed our stay here very much.

Perfect hotel for a short weekend getaway. Very clean, super friendly staff, and the morning breakfast was very tasty. Definitely will stay again in the future! Our only small issue was the hotel shuttle service - we waited a bit (15+ minutes) for the shuttle but it never arrived, so we walked to the people mover to get to our destination instead. Not a huge issue since it is pretty close. Thanks!

This hotel was super clean, kudos to the housekeeping staff. The breakfast staff kept everything very tidy and everyone was very friendly! We ran into some maintenance glitches...no hot water in the sink (tub was fine), and we kept losing power in the room. The shuttle and valet service was extremely efficient and got us to and from our destination very promptly. The hotel is old but is run very well. For the money I would prefer to stay closer to Ford Field, but I felt that we were treated very well!

The hotel is nicely located by the people mover, so you have direct access to the entire city within minutes. The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The only thing I noticed that was not the best was that the walls are very thin, so you can hear everything that is happening in the rooms around you.

Great location to stay at for concerts at the Fillmore or a game at Coamerica Park.

Was very clean, staff was more than friendly. Area of town was nice. Whould recommend for a place to lay your head.

It was as expected. Comfortable beds and the amenities such as fridge, microwave and coffee maker are standard. A Good morning breakfast included. Thought parking fee a little high at $27.00 but the Free taxi or shuttle to within 3 mile radius of Hotel made up for it. Hotel was close to most everywhere I needed to go.

The front desk staff was very friendly and funny. It was very noisy during the night with people running and yelling in the hallway outside our room.

Went with parents, overnight trip. AWESOME LOCATION, AND YOU CAN CATCH PEOPLE MOVER RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET TO GET AROUND DOWNTOWN.

This hotel offers a 3 mile FREE shuttle service. It is close to Cobo, Greektown and MGM. The drivers are very nice. The hotel room was nice and the staff was friendly.

Went to a Red Wings game with the family, great hotel, perfect location.

I stayed at this hotel for the Lady Gaga concert. Very friendly staff and the cleanliness was superb. Within walking distance from the arena. Very pleased with this location.

Amazing staff, good hot breakfast, great location! I would stay here again.

Not a bad thing to say about this facility. One block away from People Mover, elevated rail that encircles downtown. Easy to get anywhere for a mere 75 cents. If that doesn't work, the hotel has a shuttle that will take you anywhere within 3 mi radius. Store within walking distance to pick up beer, snacks, grocery items. More than adequate hot breakfast served by a top notch staff that doesn't let anything run out! Rooms clean and comfortable. Constance in housekeeping deserves kudos also. Thanks for a good stay!

Everything went really well. The room was great and exactly what we expected. We had a great time.

As noted in the title, the customer service was sub par at best. I wouldn't stay there again, nor would I recommend it for anyone else.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is awesome! The location is GREAT!

Fencer, Thank you for taking the time to share your comments about your recent visit. While we do not have a shopping mall nearby, there are countless Detroit local shops in the area with everything from art and home products, to clothing and local produce. I recommend Shinola and Eastern Market. We will use your comments about room cleanliness and service as a training opportunity. I hope to have a chance to welcome you back and regain your trust.
